Visually Appealing Semi-Fragile desk
The media could not be loaded.  My overall opinion on this purchase is for the money it’s a decent desk.I’ve had the desk for around 2-3 months now. Assembly was a little time consuming but easy enough. I did not require help with assembly until closer to the end, when you attach the arms to the desk counter so expect to ask someone to help you at least once. Took me around 3/4 hours to assemble.Quality: when I was assembling this desk I came across a couple pieces with cracks, the placement of the cracks didn’t seem detrimental to the desk holding up so I decided to put the desk together with those cracks instead of waiting for the manufacture to send new parts and delay assembly. In my pictures you can see the worst cracked piece. Another thing I wanted to note is the stickers used to number the pieces WILL peel the finish off! I peeled one of the stickers off right before attaching it to another piece and it pulled the finish off as you can see in the photo above. My advice would be to keep all stickers on unless they are visible and when removing be very careful! Another thing you need to be aware of is this is entirely particle board, the ENTIRE thing!Other things I did not like: the desk counter is not one unit, I was very unhappy with this but by time I realized it the desk was 90% assembled so I decided to just give it a try. You use 4 brackets to attach the 3 pieces that make the top of the desk. It’s a bit odd and makes me concerned about the longevity of this desk. Also, the drawer isn’t fully functional, as you would think. There is a bar that is screwed into the middle of the desk counter. It is located under the counter and inside of the the drawer area. I bought organizers for the inside of my drawer but am only able to utilize them in the front half of the drawer or they hit the bar when you shut the drawer. So just be aware that the draw space is limited.FYI: the back of the cabinet is closed off by a piece of cardboard (printer with the wood finish) and nailed to the back. If you want to use this desk where the back of it is showing It will be obvious that this is not top notch quality. Also this cardboard backing has no holes so if you plan to place anything that will need to be plugged into the wall you will need to create a hole on the cardboard. The back of the desk footing is also very thin, not like the front pieces that look like a normal piece of wood. What can I say, you get what you pay for. This is overall visually appealing from far away, but the quality isn’t quite there. If you buy this be prepared to be careful with moving it/using it because it will fall apart much easier than a wood desk would.

Looks more expensive than it is
This desk is actually much sturdier than expected for it being made of particle board. It looks a lot more expensive than it actually is as well!I was able to assemble most of it by myself, and I only needed a 2nd person to help me install the desk top portion. Instructions were fairly easy to follow. Be aware that you will need a Philips head screw driver to assemble this, and it does not come with that tool. The desk is sturdy and solid, as are the shelves inside the little storage cupboard. The keyboard tray is nice as well. No issues so far.

Love this desk!!
Super easy to assembly Love the color (light gray with a bit of black brushed antiquing. Highly recommend! I bought this unit as well as the writing desk for my home office. You can't tell from the photo, but the desktop is in three pieces. Not an issue, was just surprised. Couldn't be happier.

Takes a while to assemble
If you're used to assembling Ikea furniture and think this will be the same, think again: the package has multiple different sizes of screws and other fasteners. It's also useful to have a power driver to screw in all of the different attachments. It's not simple, and you'll want a partner to help you assemble the desk. There are a lot of parts, and you should allocate a few hours to put everything together. The desk overall is sturdy, and I'm pretty happy with it.Couple of other issues preventing five stars:* There are sticky cushions for the keyboard tray swinging up. They don't stick, but it turns out you don't need them* The surface of the desk may look like one solid piece of wood, but it isn't: it's three pieces attached together. There are braces to hold the three pieces together while you're assembling the desk; mine did not get fully tight. But once you assemble the whole desk nothing moves around anyway: it's solid.* The keyboard tray has a fairly low height: my hand on my mouse hits the desk. If I had a raised keyboard, I would not be comfortable.* There is a support bar on the bottom of the surface of the desk that goes against the keyboard tray. Generally, you _must_ have the keyboard tray out in order to use the keyboard and mouse. All that being said, I think this is a good value for the money. And again, the desk is solid.

Low Quality, Arrived Damaged and Missing Parts
I purchased furniture from this brand about 15 years ago so I knew it wasn't wood, but basically particle board with contact paper over it so I wasn't expecting solid wood and top quality. That being said, I was expecting it to arrive undamaged and will all the parts. There are about a dozen bags of screws and other parts so I didn't notice one was missing before I started and midway through the assembly process, which is very lengthy, the needed package of screws was not there. This caused a late night trip to find a suitable substitute which was a pain and of course the exact parts you d don't be found so hopefully the ones used will work longterm. Then the last part of the assembly was attaching the top. it is the very last piece in the box. When I took it out, the top was damaged, two tears in the fake wood contact paper. The overall packaging was not damaged and the tears looked dirty so I would assume this happened when it was packaged up. At that point it was too late to disassemble send back. Very disappointing as the damage is in the front/center of the desk and a front corner so very obvious and I will have to look at it all the time. They need better quality control.

Takes time to assemble but directions are straightforward
It took me 4 1/2 hours to assemble but the overall finished product is very nice.

Functional but not a finished product
This desk is functional and fairly easy to put together, however I felt misled by the 360 view photo. I was expecting a completely finished product as I was not planning on putting this desk against a wall. Some pieces are not completely finished so the chipboard wood or screw holes show through. The back of the storage area is just a cardboard back. The veneer/laminate finish is thin and I fear it will scratch easily.
