Great Quality!
This bird feeder is wonderful! It is very durable and sturdy. The copper finish is elegant and striking. It is easy to fill and I love that you can see how much bird food is inside. It is striking and truly looks like a beautiful piece of artwork in our yard. It's fun to see the birds come to it. I love to see them fly to the middle of the circle, pick up some seed and fly away thru it! Very unique! I am enjoying this bird feeder very much and look forward to seeing it in my yard as the seasons change.

Adds an artsy touch to my bird friendly garden
I am thrilled with the Fly-Thru circle feeder that I ordered for birds wintering in my yard this year. It is hard to find an attractive feeder that invites the smaller finches, wrens to feed while resting inside a cozy shelter. Other large species (with their equally large appetites), seem to avoid this charming feeding station. The center opening permits the wind to blow through without rocking the feeder very much. It rocks gently, while birds feed inside or wait on the branches above. Only a couple birds can feed at one time, making the seed last a long time. The sturdy construction was an added bonus to it's large capacity for seed. I will probably buy another Fly-Thru feeder shape (half moon or star), to compliment this one.

form over function????
I REALLY wanted this to work. I have 7 other feeders throughout my property and although this is the one that attracted my neighbors, it didn't attract many birds. I've hung on a sturdy pin oak near my window so can observe the bird activity. Black oil sunflower attracts the birds but because of the plexiglass/plastic frame, the seed tends to get old and nasty. This really defeats the whole purpose!Didn't want to give up without a creative alternative; searched everywhere for mesh screen to replace the plastic for better air circulation and attract the birds/provide a perch while feeding. NOBODY sells an appropriate screen. I've all but given up on this feeder.Unless you have a LOT of spare time and are willing to reconstruct the feeder, I'd recommend you find a less-attractive alternative.

Pros and Cons
I thought it might be helpful to share some pros and cons with this bird feeder. I am mixed on my review.Pros:This is one of the largest bird feeders I have ever purchased. It is also quite heavy, and very sturdy. It is beautiful to look at, assuming you want something this large hanging in your yard or patio.Once the birds discover it and figure out how to get inside, they are flocking around it and eating constantly. That may be because I am using yummy sunflower chips!Probably also because of the sunflower chips, there has been no waste or mess.Cons:The top does not come off, it just unscrews and turns perpendicularly so that it's open enough to add bird seed. You must have a LOT of bird seed in the feeder in order for it to be accessible to the birds.Only ONE bird can comfortably sit inside the feeder at once, which is quite limiting. There is no place for the birds to land and wait, other than in nearby trees or fences. There is plenty of fussing and fighting, since only one bird can get into the feeder at once, and they are always kicking each other out to take their turns. Also plenty of fluttering to get in and out, which seems challenging and frustrating for the birds.Bottom line is that it's nice looking, sturdy and substantial, and the birds do keep coming back for more. But I prefer feeders where multiple birds can dine at one time, and one that isn't curved and slippery so that they can't perch on the edge or ledge, top or side. Take a close look before deciding.

Awful Bird Feeder. Copper finish pitted in one month.
I bought this for it unique look. Seemed pricey, I wrongly assumed it would be a long-lasting bird feeder that held up well. In under a month, the finish is pitted and rusting. It looks awful. Do not waste you money like I did.

Rusts immediately, poor construction
Looks cheap considering how expensive it was. It is not copper and I’d argue not even copper colored. At the price I half expected real copper construction. The birds love this thing so I had to give 2 stars, but it won’t last another season as it is falling apart and the rust progression is amazing. Find a better feeder…avoid this one.
