These are great and worth the cost.

Does fire stick or Apple TV work on this

Yes. It has a power jack to supply power to streaming video sticks. However, I can at least tell you that with the Roku stick I needed to use the extension cable that came with it to get it to fit (along with the power plug) in the cabinet. Also, if in full sun you will need to keep the back cover popped open or the stick will overheat. The power port works for supplying power to certain amplified TV antennas too.
