They are exactly what you’d expect

I learned about these gauze squares through a youtube influencer. She suggested using them to lightly exfoliate your face of it's dead skin cells and excess sebum. You can use them to gently apply your toner or other liquid skincare products you might have, all over your face and neck. These have really helped to smooth out my areas of rough, dry, skin. I can't use most exfoliators, because my skin is just that sensitive, plus I have mild rosacea, but I can use these without any irritation at all, and these have been working out great for me!

I have ordered this same product at least 3 times, but I am disappointed in my last order. The gauze is thinner and there is barely any cotton in the middle. It’s a shame they would skimp on materials for something so simple that did a good job they way it was. And the price is still the same

I needed rough gauze for some semi-abrasive skin care treatments. I couldn’t believe how challenging it can be to find this type! I didn’t care about the size of the gauze pad or the quantity of the package (although what I got here is definitely a great deal!). I almost gave up before coming across these. And the brand name “Intrinsics” is a good one. I believe they have their own site or catalog at least. Many, many quality supplies for a medical aesthetician.

I have been buying an alternate brand on Amazon for a couple of years and this time they weren’t available. The ones I was buying were a soft tight knit gauze that worked just like the R+F brand. I use them for toner and removing waterproof mascara. These are SO rough! Awful for eyes. I guess if you wanted to exfoliate while toning they might be on. Be warned x. Look at the difference in the pics. The tightly knit ones are the other brand.
