It’s a nail cutter. But it just feels so much better from a fit and finish aspect compared to drug store nail clippers. Obviously these are meant to be portable, so they are definitely small, but not too small to handle comfortably. The cutting edge is sharp and gives a satisfying cut. The cutting edge is on the smaller side though, smaller than I’m accustomed to compared to drug store small clippers. The cutting edge almost feels like these are meant for children, but had no problem cutting my adult male nails. Definitely would say it’s too small for toe nails, but honestly who would be cutting their toe nails other than at their residence. It has a keyring hole to allow for keychain carry, but because it may be keychain carried and bumping into keys, i wish it included some sort of sheath to protect the cutting edges. For now I’m using a trimmed down heat shrink. Not the prettiest but does the job to protect the cutting edge. I also wish they integrated a file texture to one side of the flat surfaces, but i guess if you’re looking at this you probably also carry a SAK which usually has a small file. But i still wish they integrated a file to this clipper. Definitely on the pricey side compared to drug store clippers, but the quality difference is very apparent.

Swiss craftsmanship has never disappointed. Although this nail clipper is small and compact, it’s the most convenient and sharpest one I’ve ever used. How sharp is it? Let me tell you — it’s so sharp that sometimes it cuts through your nails without making any sound at all. There’s none of that typical clicking or snapping noise when clipping. The trimmed nails don’t even need filing afterward; the edges are completely smooth, with no roughness or burrs whatsoever.

Love these! Bought several. (After the first was such a win!). Car. Office. Pocket. Purse for the ladies! Great quality and work very well. Never know when you’re going to get a broken or hang nail … when a file just won’t do, having one of these is awesome!

the clippers are great, but like most say, they are small, if I had to have a guess they would be best utilized by about a 5ft lady, not a guy over 6 ft who would require 3-4 clips per finger. These clippers are designed for petit fingers.

They said that you get what you paid for. It is true, I have had several victorinox products from nail clippers, pocket knives, to professional kitchen knives. These don’t disappoint. Don’t expect a bulky nail clipper, because portability is the aim. This is 1) very sharp (as expected); 2) medium sized for portability, ideal for hands and small nails -if you want to trim the toenail, Victorinox sells a toe clipper perhaps not available on Amazon. 3) nice looking (they came mirror polished). Extra features: Nails are kept inside de clipper to proper and orderly disposal. Get one and keep it on your key ring.

The best nail clipper money can buy! Every adult should own at least one. I have very hard nails that grow fast and this fine Swiss tool clips through them effortlessly. They are small and fold down to a sleek profile that melts away into your pocket or travel case. They also work excellent for clipping fishing line. The lanyard attachment built into the handle makes it easy to attach to your fishing gear. Our family now owns three of these highly effective nail clippers.

These are obviously of super high quality. However there are probably only useful if you have an infant or a child as they are so small I don't think that they're really useful for an adult

Der kleine Victorinox Nagelknipser wirkt auf den ersten Blick wie ein völlig unspektakuläres Alltagsprodukt. In der Praxis zeigt sich jedoch sehr schnell, warum er sich deutlich von vielen günstigen Nagelknipsern unterscheidet. Es ist eines dieser Produkte, bei denen man erst nach der Benutzung merkt, wie viel Wert eine saubere Konstruktion und gute Verarbeitung tatsächlich haben. Die Schneidleistung ist hervorragend. Finger- und auch Fußnägel lassen sich präzise und ohne großen Kraftaufwand schneiden. Der Schnitt ist sauber, nichts reißt oder splittert.
