Knew some but needed a refresher and learned about even more

This book is an excellent reference to find saints in a particular area. I love to use it as a starting point and then dig deeper into a saints qualities

I was scheduled to make a short presentation regarding a saint of my choice at a religious prayer service. I got what I needed from this book. I am choosing Saint Bernadette and I can give my three minute presentation based on the information on her in this book. For future presentations I have all the information I will need. Information is concise, direct and very informative.

Not really enough about the saints....

It's a very interesting book. Never realized how many things that there are patron Saints for. Would buy again.

Book arrived with 2 tears and scrape on front cover. Appeared to have been run over. Track across back cover Disappointed.

This was a wonderful book. Nicely sized. Great binding and good quality book.If you can read the title, you can get a good idea of what you're going to get. Fun and interesting reading.

While this book mentions many professions , including bridge builders , brewers , candy makers , clowns & comedians , poets , sheep farmers & wine makers , there is no mention of my profession , medical technologist . There isn't even a heading for "medical professional" . Also , in the section for ailments there doesn't seem to be any psychological ailments mentioned , such as depression. So, the statement on the cover of the book that says "Saints for Every Profession , Every Ailment , etc " is not entirely correct and perhaps even misleading.

Was expecting more of an encyclopedia style with basic bios and an overview of the saints. If that's what you're expecting your sadly mistaken.
