Beardless Irises: A Plant for Every Garden Situation

I Love this Book. I am an avid grower of Historic Iris, and just recently decided I wanted to grow some Beardless Iris as well, and I found this bookto be absolutely wonderful. It is full of information, and beautiful photographs. I find myself picking it up daily to just browse thru it. I love the bookand keep it on my coffee table for quick reference. I Highly recommend this Book to anyone interested in Beardless Iris.

Yes, beautiful pictures. But we found the real jewel were the Appendixes. There was some very good additional information. Don't get me wrong as the contend is all important and worthwhile.

A beautifully produced book with excellent photographs. However, I could have used a lot more cultural advice and discussion, and much less detail on history and hybridizers. The long lists of varieties in the texts without any indication of what they are serves no real purpose for the average gardener.

Heard about this wonderful book from someone who visited the American Iris Society Convention in May this year. A great book, in fact all my iris friends have ordered it.Good photos and nice read saying about the breeders of these beardless irises.A little expensive for me as the NZ dollars took a plunge.

Overall good quality, a couple of the corners were mildly damaged but this wont hinder the actual reading and looking at pictures part
