SKG A10 Slow Masticating Juicer Wide Chute Cold Press Anti-oxidation BPA Free High Yield Easy to Clean - White

I did a ton of research before purchasing this juicer and was quite disappointed once I got it. I like that it is a cold press juicer. I like that it is quiet and easy to assemble and clean. BUT sadly, it does not work well for my morning green juice. I like to juice a bunch of kale, celery, cucumber and 1/2 an apple. This works great for the apple and cucumber, but really struggles with the kale and celery. It gets all caught inside and clogs up the pulp chute. It also does horribly with herbs like parsley... basically doesn't juice them at all. I also didn't love having to cut everything up so small before inserting, but that wasn't a deal breaker.If you want it just for things like carrots, beets, apples, etc. it is good, but for greens it just doesn't do a good job. My cheap centrifugal juicer does a much better job than this one when it comes to greens- sad! I ended up returning... too much of a headache each morning. :(

As I've only used this juicer once, I'll have to reserve a more thorough judgement until I've used it over a period of time. My preliminary impression, however, is that the juicer is extremely well made. Every component is solid and heavy; all of the pieces fit together with precision (which is something I never observed it my two cheaper previous juices ). The pulp is extremely dry (Good!), and the juice itself has enough pulp in it to make the juice even healthier. Of course, if you don't like a bit of pulp, you can simply strain it out. I paid $320 for this juicer, and can readily compare it to my two previous centrifugal juicers, for which I paid around $120. There is absolutely no comparison between my masticating SKG juicer and my two previous centrifugal juicers (both of which broke after about two years). My previous centrifugal juicers yielded a wet pulp and foamy juice (foam indicates that a juicer is oxidizing the juice - bad!). Oxidation is a killer of enzymes. I noticed that there was negligible foam in my SKG-made juice. As for any negatives - when I used my juicer, I cursed it for not handling leafy vegetables very well; but then I read the manual (duh!) and read that you're supposed to chop the greens before putting them into the feed chute; so I retracted that negative. As for cleaning up afterwards, this juicer cleans up SO easily, especially when you compare it to my two previous juicers. The $300+ price tag is a bit high, but I must say that the price is justified when you look at the quality of the machine and the quality of the juice it produces. So this is all I have to say at the moment. I will submit another comment after I've used this juicer for a few months.

This is an AMAZING appliance. Makes juicing practical and appealing. I've always wanted to integrate juicing into my longterm health plan - buying juice is expensive and the quality isn't the same as fresh juice. In the past I've bought juicers but the overhead of cumbersome multistep assembly, periodic stops to clean and deal with pulps, and cleaning were soon too much for me to maintain.I decided to try again, being motivated recently to really step up my health practices. I feel really fortunate to have chosen this model as my new attempt at juicing!!! I can't say enough good things about it - super quick and easy assembly - INTUITIVE to figure out and only a few steps.The operation was smooth and the pulp (as advertised) really DID smoothly come out the Shute, and get deposited into its container.The pulp was almost dry, and the juice yield was really great!The whole apples and oranges went right down through the masticator without stressing the machine - and you can watch what's going on with all parts of the machine while your produce is moving through.Cleaning up could not have been easier! No stains from the beets - very minimal pulp left in machine. Easy apart, rinse or wash and done.Highly recommended.I needed to confirm that I was interpreting one of the instructions correctly, so I reached out to the Seller. They quickly responded and were really gracious and followed up to make sure all went well.

This juicer is AWESOME ❤ I'm so happy that I invested a little more than the ones I had previously!! Easy to assemble Easy to clean sturdy well made and quiet. I juiced 5 small (smaller than average) organic mandarins I peeled them and it yield 3/4 cup of pure clean flavorful juice! ha maybe one inch of dry pulp extracted! ❤ I juiced 2 medium size oranges and yielded 1 cup of pure clean flavorful juice! Will be juicing greens tomorrow and so excited in hopes of the same out come clean flavorful juice. I think this runs at 36 rpm its slow but powerful with less oxidation once peeled the citrus I had juice quickly This is really the juicer to get absolute the best I've ever used and the juice is just what I was looking for. Will update again soon on quality of other juices!👍❤**Day 2 with greens and the thin holed screen worked very nice Flavorful juice and yield of juice was good. Nice addition to have the included small screen that fits the juice holder when juice comes out of machine. I have not tried the secondary screen with the bigger holes yet, I believe that's for the harder vegetables like beets will post when I use that one!***Juiced 12 organic medium apples then rinsed machine with 1/2 cup water before taking apart and cleaning. The out come of 12 apples is 34oz of juice, 8oz of soft pulp from the little basket that goes into the container for the juice to flow in to. (looks like a soft apple sauce after draining or baby food) also 8oz of the dry pulp from shoot extraction plus 4oz of apple flavored water. Wow! not one drop of waste as I can make dog biscuits with the dry pulp or add the flavored water to make applesauce.❤ Happy Juicing!!

Tuve antes un modelo más viejo. Éste parece mucho mejor. Hay que cortar las verduras duras zanahorias betabel, etc para no fastidiar la máquina. Es delicioso disfrutar de los jugos de ésta máquina. Mucho más fácil la limpieza del aparato que el modelo anterior.
