Does what it's supposed to do
I noticed the tips of the dishwasher prongs (or whatever they're called) were starting to rust. I bought this thing just two years ago and wasnt expecting it to rust! I didnt like the way the pronfs looked. So i found these. Easy to install. I like the grip it provides. And they make my dishwasher look nicer.

Looks like new
I was about to replace the entire lower dishwasher rack but then I saw these. The rack looks like new for a fraction of the cost. I used a heat gun prior to installing them so they were soft and easy to slide on.

Tips for Installation!!
Easy Install Tips:- Heat a half cup of water to about 165 degrees- Drop a dozen plastic tips into the water- One by one, remove a tip from the water and press it onto an open rack tine, twisting as you push.- Once that dozen are applied, zap the water for 15-20 seconds in the microwave to bring it up to temp again.- Repeat until done.Notes:- Don't heat the water much higher than 170. It can make the plastic tips a little too soft and they'll roll over themselves when you push them down.- Water colder than 150 will still soften the tips slightly, but I found 165 to be the sweet spot where the tips were buttery soft and required virtually no effort to push on, which is why I ended up microwaving the water between each set.Product Review:- So far so good. Only had them on for a couple weeks now but none have flown off or deformed. Wish they had come with instructions so I didn't have to figure out the hot water logistics on my own, because trying to install them cold/dry was horrifically hard.

Excellent dishwasher tine tips
A package full of 200 pieces, I specifically ordered these tips because they are about twice as long as other brands. That being so, they are a bit harder to fully fit onto the old tines, so be sure to use a rubber glove and some form of lubricant to get them on fully and tight. We used WD-40; others have suggested dishwashing detergent. If you do use dishwashing liquid detergent, be sure not to use very much and thoroughly wipe the tines after doing so or you might end up with a foamy, sudsy mess inside your dishwasher. It may be better to use liquid dishwashing detergent or perhaps a low-sudsing HE liquid laundry detergent.Whatever lubricant you use, a very little is all that is needed.Another trick: if you old tines are rough or rusted, sand them lightly to make them smooth so the tips will easily slide down. The tips fit very firmly and will not easily slide or be pushed off by water.A great price -- certainly far less than new racks. Now our old racks look and perform just as good as when the dishwasher WAS new 20 years ago.We are very pleased with our purchase and highly recommend these tine tips.

WORKING GREAT SO FAR
When I was looking for this type of cap this is the one that I thought was the best deal with the greatest number of caps. If you are looking for caps, make sure you get the longest ones......like these. They are a little difficult to put on, especially after the rack tips have swelled from rust being under the plastic coating. You have to be patient. I did mine in stages so I wouldn't get so frustrated. One thing that worked REALLY well for me is this......a cup of the hottest water you can get from your faucet.....put in a handful of the caps to make them more pliable. One by one, using a cloth for good grip, put them on the rack tips and push/turn till all the way on. If a rack tip is too fat from rust, hold the cap and push a needle nose plier into the opening. Try to open the plier while in the end of the cap. This will stretch it just enough. Don't hesitate....the cap will cool and tighten up. If water isn't hot enough you can put it in microwave for only 10 seconds (with the caps in the water). It took me 10 minutes to put on about 5 caps, but when I heated the water more I was able to put on about 15 caps in that same amount of time.

PITA
I wouldn’t wish these on my worst enemy. We priced out buying a new rack which would’ve been about 80 something dollars I think for the model dishwasher we had but we were moving quickly and didn’t have time for it to arrive so these were our next plan to get the dishwasher ready in a home to sell Well I sat there with my son for a good three hours fighting with these things just to get a couple rows done we tried every trick in all of the other reviews finally had to wait for someone else to put some of the rest on. what a disaster and waste of time I should’ve just bought a new rack to save myself from frustration, time and painful fingertips.

They do the job
I tried all the tips for installing these and finally had success using olive oil and an extra rag for pressing them on without damaging my fingers. They look great.

Good but tight to get on
These are nice caps but were very tight to try to slip on. Had to use pliers to put the on. Once on, they are not moving.
