The range in my apartment is the cheapest model with the burners that have the spring loaded thing in the center. I have no idea what it is supposed to do, other than making it impossible to keep pan level, because it certainly isn't a safety feature. I tried everything, putting things under the handle to keep level, tried attaching rocks to the other side, I even tried using stops of aluminum foil as tape... My eggs still ended up pooled at edge, burnt on half and the rest uncooked.After very little research, I went with these because it came with all the things to replace the outlet as well. Turns out they weren't needed (but good to have as replacement as I think they are pretty universal). All I had to do was pull the ridiculously useless factory burner, just like when cleaning the burners (and no, didn't clean, I wanted my freaking egg), stuck the new ones in and successfully made my eggs.

Break in connectors before installing.
Burners can be a tight fit so work them into the recepticals a couple times before installing. The recepticals themselves are a bit loose and you can damage them if inserting the burners at all off center. Might be best to rig the recepticals so they're more secure but i couldn't easily figure a way to safely do that.

nice looking but are very hard to get to stay still
i absolutely love how they look but they don't stay put while I am trying to cook they wobble around unlike the original ones. I sized them correctly but they were made very cheaply so they dont work very well with my stove...

Worked just fine
I got this for a whirlpool stove everything went together nice and easy. They smoked a little at first just the packaging oil burning off don’t worry stove works great now good deal for the money

Not a proper fit
Burner on the left was the original. As you can see the two plug-ins are shorter than the original also the bottom metal piece that sits on the stove to hold it in place is wrong not happy at all with this product I will be buying my burner from GE
