This is my every night pillow and it travels with me on the plane when I go anywhere. Really good if you're a side sleeper because it supports your neck, and your cheekbone fits in the hole. I have a second one for between my knees. Nothing else like it. If you have a window seat on a plane, you just put it up against the wall an lean into it. Way better than those bulky horseshoe shaped pillows. Easily fits in a backpack. Avoid cheaper models because they are not as plump and the stitching between the baffles gives up and then all you have is a bag of micro-beads. Go for the name brand in this case. They also make great gifts. By the way, I use them for camping too.

I've had one of these pillows for over 15 years and love it! The pillow can be configured as a pillow or to hold something (I often rest my Kindle on it when reading). As a travel pillow, it can be folded in half and put around your neck to keep you head from falling forward or put between you head and shoulder. It is soft and comfortable.

This is my second purchase of this pillow, and my third Clever Comforts. I bought this one for my daughter, so I could get mine back. She needs to support her elbow while she's sleeping. I use mine folded over the arm of my office chair, to support my arm while using a roller ball mouse. I switch it to under the other arm when I want to take a break and read for a while. I have also used it as a knee support while sleeping. I bought the pink one for my great-granddaughter. She's seven, and I think she will have a ball with it. The pink was all plush, and seemed just a tiny bit softer. It's really unusual, in that it feels quite soft and squishy when you just pinch it, but whether it's folded or open, it doesn't have a lot of give. There are only two reasons I do not give it a five. It's quite firm, and I'm a soft, cushy pillow person...and, it's not purple. It does have multi uses. I've used it on a plane, to hold my cup, and to hold my book/tablet on the drink tray. Not all at the same time of course, but it works really well. It is too small, or too firm, to be comfortable as a neck pillow, for me. Since that was the reason I took the trouble to carry it with me, it is not worth it to carry on a plane just to prop my stuff up. I'm a very big boned woman, and it just does not fit my neck like the women in the picture. I can not recommend it to anyone who is only looking for a neck support, based on the fact that it just doesn't work in that capacity for me. It might for small, thin people. This is an update: My pillow sprang a tiny leak last month. I'm not surprised...I'm really very rough on it. An innermost seam gave way a fraction of an inch, and I used some stitching glue on it. That worked fine, and I have had no problems since. Maybe I'll be more careful...but probably not...I'll update if anything else happens.

After purchasing 2 "Total Pillow" at BB&B, I literally wore them out. I returned to BB&B and there were none. The manager told me they were "No longer made." I became obsessed in finding this particular pillow, as I use it all the time, and everywhere. I turned to Amazon, and I found some that called themselves "Total Pillow," I bough 2 which had the logo embroidered on them, and 2 pink ones from Hong Kong. All 4 were awful. Within 2 weeks of usage, they became flat, and small beads dropped out of them everywhere. I threw away all 4 pillows. Still desperate, I purchased this pillow, and it is fantastic. It is even better than the ones I purchased originally. I'll be buying more of this particular one. Very pleased. 3/12/2014 Well, I'm very, very puzzled. I ordered 2 more from what I thought was the same vender, and today I received 2 'Total Pillows' from China. They're the ones that come apart at the seams, from which little beads fall out. How did that happen? I ordered the exact same product with which I was so pleased, only to receive this crap. I'm not happy! Beware of Chinese sellers selling the same items with lower, poor quality. It happened to me with ultrasonic oil diffusers. I think I'm purchasing a specific diffuser, and what I receive is some malfunctioning machine made in China that doesn't work. It is no longer "free market economy" but a scam running by Chinese copiers who sell inferior products repeatedly via Amazon. Please BEWARE.The 5 star review I gave it originally is now reduced to one. The "Total Pillow" I originally received was excellent. I clicked on the very same product and ordered 2 more, and received these 2 skinny, beaded pillows that have no support at all! What happened in 2 weeks time between a great pillow to this?

I don’t know yet if I will be able to get more comfortable with this after my shoulder replacement tomorrow. It didn’t feel good behind my head in the recliner, but it did seem like it would be useful for padding and comfort under my surgical arm. I’m sure I’ll use it to prop up my arm in the recliner. It does bend in half, so will work if I need it higher. The fabric covering is very soft, velvety and comfortable. It’s a high quality product. I wouldn’t take it on an airplane. It’s too bulky for me. I prefer the inflatable neck pillows so I can deflate it and put it in my purse when I get off if the plane. With shoulder surgery, I’m going to want to travel as lightly as possible. When recovered, I’m traveling for 2 months overseas and packing space will be minimal. I usually take a 50 lb. suitcase and a carryon and I still wouldn’t want something this bulky to carry on trains to my destination. After surgery, I am allowed to lift 25 pounds so I doubt I’ll take any neck pillow. If you need one for travel or as a reclining passenger in a car, it would be fabulous. Your head will sit right in that hole in the middle. I recommend it.

I initially bought this to replace an inflatable donut pillow that wouldn't stay inflated. I thought it was inflatable because that's what I searched for and it was one of the results. Alas, it was not. I should have paid closer attention. Having said that, I thought it was going to be uncomfortable due to the fact that it's advertised more for travelling and not tail bone relief. However it works well. No pain in my tailbone since I started using it. I was going to return it because I wanted an inflatable pillow but it's working so I think I'll keep it. As to whether or not it makes a comfortable travel pillow, I have no idea. It's not memory foam, It's a material feels grainy, more fluid which may be why it molds better.

This is a very comfy neck pillow and can be used to sit on etc. Worth the money.
