Gioteck EX03 Wired Headset for xbox 360

First off, I don't usually write reviews but I must say that after reading all the negative reviews about this product and being hesitant to buy it, in the end it was a very good deal.The device is simple to set up, decent cable length, sturdy built and good mic and speaker quality. As a previous poster said, the mic doesn't reach all the way to the mouth, but that does not affect the quality at all.It comes with three ear-tips small, medium and large allowing you to chose the size that is most comfortable to you. The part that fits over your ear may seem stiff at first, but if you apply a bit of pressure before putting on you ear, it will be easier to adjust once its over your ear.The speaker quality is good, allowing me to hear friends even through the deep bass in my speakers. The mic is also good, as they can hear me with the built in noise cancellation in the mic. One thing to note, on their website, they say you should have the background music (or game) running before plugging in the mic so it can sample your background noise. This could be the reason for the issues some people identify with the mic volume being too low.Overall, its a good product and I'm happy that i bought it especially for a reasonable price. Use every time i game.

Lord Jesus.. where do I begin? the second I got this product, I plugged it in to my Xbox 360 to chat with a friend who was already online. he complained about a buzzing noise and when it heard him, it to was very statically annoying. I only gave it two stars because worse case, your on a very low budget and need something "911" to chat with friends on the 360. if you're not on a budget, for the love of god.. by the time you read this, you should be having plans to buy yourself an Xbox off next and the very least. I sure did =) no regrets of that!

They work. But the mic isn't long enough. It's a cheap design. I understand for the price. But could use a better design with the mute slider.

I got mine at target for $20 and it lasted long and people never. Complain they say that its really clear

If you're a father trying to get your gaming on while the kids are napping, STAY AWAY FROM THESE HEADPHONES! The sound on these headphones are ok, but the mic is so far away from your mouth you have to almost yell in order for someone to hear you.

Great headset. I bought it because I was low on money and wanted to buy a cheap headset and I come across this headset. I did not thank it would be that good but boy was I wrong it was amazing for the price. I got it when I said it ship fast. I was very happy with it it was better then I thought it would be. I would buy it again. I also recommend it.

The sound quality through the ear piece is quite bad, sounds like you're listening to your neighbours talk and when I tested it by talking to a friend on discord he said it was like listening to me try to talk from the end of the road..Even the feel and look of it is bad.Regardless of price when they are selling a product you expect some kind of quality.. which this definitely doesn't have!Overall it's junk and you shouldn't waste your money

I think Gioteck need to go back to the drawing board with this headset. Recently bought and initially thought it was pretty nifty. It is comfortable on the ear, concise and the sound quality through the earpiece is great. That is where the good points end I'm afraid. I found myself having to shout for my voice to be audible on the other end as the microphone seems to fall short of my mouth. I tested the microphone close to my mouth so that the device was off my ear and it picked up my voice fine. So I think if this was re-released with a longer microphone it would be a great item.I wouldn't recommend it unless of course your voice is particularly loud to begin with.

right to start i honestly don't see what all the reviews slating this are for, after some minor adjustments to the placing of the mic my online friends can hear me fine with my normal speaking tone with no problems. fit's snuggly to my ear and has 3 sizes of ear bud (i find the middle size perfect)bit of advice if you do buy this product is to have the mic pressed against your cheek and you'll have no problems at all.overall this is actually a really good product, design is slick. my only gripe with it is the cable that connects to the controller, it feels really delicate and the jack is sensative to any slight pull and produces a crackling sound, if this was wireless then it would have got a 5 star but as it is i'm giving it a 4*

Bought for my eldest Son as part of his present from his newborn Sister this has gone down a treat.Perfect replacement for his old Xbox 360 Headset we now don't have to suffer from the noise of his mates shouting out instructions or directions while he's online playing the games!Great product.

The Jack doesn't fit properly and is loose, indeed I had another giotek headset and had the same problem. I dropped the controller about two feet of my seat and the Jack bent. The materials in giotek headsets is substandard. I would not recommend this to anyone. But yourself a tried instead.
