I saw this on a channel I watch.
I'm told this is the product hand rubbed in MANY layers on those English big game rifles and such things NOBODY can afford. Have you seen that wood? This amount will go a LONG way and I have a project I'd like to really look good. It's Watco. It's Rustoleum. I trust both of them and especially that repair channel I watch. A no-worry choice for me.

For a beautiful finish without the fuss, go Danish Oil
We've used Tung oil for years on our new furniture builds, but decided to try Danish Oil. Well, after our 1st use 20 some years ago we never looked back. Watco products are high quality, especially their stain/Danish oil combination. It leaves a rich color, and smooth hand-rubbed finish just as they advertise. We highly recommend this product.

Expectations too high?
Just me but did not make wood pop like I thought would.

Beautiful color, quick drying time
This provided exactly the kind of finish I was after. A nice, clean matte. Rich color.

Followed the instructions...Worked great on poplar trim
Used this some some custom poplar trim for windows and around a bamboo ceiling. Left the grain of the poplar visible as I desired and beautifully delineated the windows and ceiling. Follow the directions and wear rubber gloves and it's pretty easy.

Camouflages normal wear and tear!
A contractor recommended this Danish Oil to me during our home renovation. He showed me how easy it is to use this product to cover the dings of ordinary wear and tear and restore a satin shine. It goes on with high sheen, but after the excess is wiped away and it has a few days to cure, the results are very pleasing. I will be keeping this in my house long-term. It has made a big difference.

Easy to use and easy to touch up if necessary
Depending on what I am building, I either spray varnish, or shellac and then varnish over top. Or, if I want a subdued finish that mimics a hand rubbed wax look I always turn to Danish oil. It is easy to touch up when and if there are wear marks like sliding your clock radio around on the top of the end table. Just use some 0000 steel wool and flood the top rub it in with the steel wool for 15 minutes or so and let set another 15 minutes and then wipe off excess and let fully dry over night. Could not be easier.
