So glad that I got this for my new puppy who is a shih tzu and 10lbs. I was having a hard time guessing on the size due to the reviews. I got a large and it was super tight on my dog. Return it to exchange for X-large, it fits her, but a little big. That works out well as she can walk comfortably around the house. Love the material and we'll made.

Got a 17 lb poodle mix and got XLARGE. Even then it was so darn tight on her shoulders and she barely moved. If doggies could flex, she would prob break the dress lol. I would measure my pets shoulder length the same way we measure our shoulder length for human clothes for this product. There’s ZERO stretch. I should have bought XXXLARGE. The sizes are ridiculous Bc it’s not USA pet store sizes. They are sizes for small breed dogs so large dogs aren’t included which is why it’s a weird sizing chart. Basically, in the small dog world if your dog is bigger than 10 lbs then he or she will probably be in the XLARGE+ category in this world. Normally she’s a medium at pets mart but man, not here!

It's very cute! But PLEASE size up even if you don't think you need it. This is why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5. My pup's chest girth is 11" generously, which is right in the middle of the measurement range for SMALL (10-12"), but it was a struggle and wrestle to get it on, and I couldn't snap the bottom-most fastener even after getting her arms through the tiny, skinny sleeves. I'm going to try a medium and hope for the best. You have been warned!!

Very cute and authentic looking ! Size is small so order up. My dog is a 15 pound shihtzu mix and usually medium with shirts that stretch - ordered a 2XL and it fit her perfectly just in time for New Years Day! This material has zero stretch but I didn’t expect it to because this traditional dress doesn’t have stretch to begin with - still if you order up 2-3 sizes (3 sizes to rest easy) - it should work out. Everyone in my family just adored the outfit ! Thank you for making such a great dress !

Fit my maltipoo perfectly

This has got to be the most 'over the top' pet accessory we have ever purchased. But, dang it's the cutest little kimono you have ever seen. We are definitely moved into the column of "crazy dog parents" with this purchase. BUT, the outfit is well manufactured, colorful and as far as a Halloween outfit perfect for our 1 year old Pom-Poo-Retriever, Charlee. We love it and would recommend it to everyone!!!!

Not much stretch to the fabric but I can close all the buttons and it looks great. The skirt looks a little short compared to her long body, but still looks good. Highly recommend!For reference, my 25lbs corgi has 13” neck & 20” girth.
