My favorite Takini so far
I was skeptical about getting this takini and I took a chance and order it. Ladies, I do not regret my choice at all. Im a 42dd and very curvy so I got the largest size 4xl just in case and this takini is comfortable. I didn't need the padding I took it out. I wish I can upload the images for you to see because when i showed my friends/coworkers they liked it.

What it looks like on a taller woman
I've actually never left a review on Amazon before, but I feel that it's important for other women to see how this swimming suit actually fits. I'm 5'9", and a size 16. I bought a 3XL, and it's "slightly" too big around the bust (not cup size (I am a D cup), just around the torso). The fabric in the stomach region is somewhat see through, but the way it's cut keeps your tummy hidden. I even tested it by wearing it in the shower, and it covers the midsection flawlessly. My only concern is how "long" it is...almost like lingerie. Then again, it'll be unique from any other swimming suit I've worn. Plus, it's nice to have extra coverage in the thigh region. Overall, a great buy!!!

Gorgeous but runs a bit small
Allow me to clarify a few things about this swimsuit as I was confused reading some of the reviews. It is really cute and I love it! But yea it does run quite small. It is not a regular or plus size swimsuit so no matter what size you are, you can order it and it would be adorable on you! You order by your US size but the sizes are actually not US. My large I ordered on Amazon was counted as a XXXL stating it would fit US size 16-18. I am 5'6", 160lbs, wear size 8 jeans and medium shirts, am 13 weeks pregnant and so my bra size is currently 36E. The large fit me perfectly but the chest is a little snug. The XL was too big for me. So when reading that women have a 4XL or 3XL, this is not true US sizes. I would plan on ordering one size up from your regular size you wear. I usually wear a medium, and found large worked best. Good luck! And if you are in the fence...let me tell you, YES you will love this two piece!! I got a lot of compliments on it :)

Great plus size option
I'm gonna be honest and brave and give you the plus girl opinion and post a picture of me in a suit on the internet! This suit is super cute! I ordered several suits for the fearful finding of a few for an upcoming vacation. I am a size 18-20 pants, 1-2xl shirt, 42C. I have huge thighs and this did a good job covering them without looking too grandma-like though the bottoms are just a bit tight on my thighs. For me, I have to return it though. You can tighten the halter to keep the girls up and perky, however I've had a neck injury and I found it started hurting my neck after about 10 minutes. When I loosen it enough to not hurt my neck, there's no support, as seen in this picture. I believe it is a personal problem and I probably can't wear halter tops anymore so I wouldn't let that stop you from ordering it. Definitely a good purchase for plus size gals.

LOVE IT Pretty Suit, Their size chart is correct, not see through, needs a more supportive bra.
I really love this swimsuit. I have been looking for a halter tankini like this for 3 years. After reading all the reviews and everyone saying how small they run I ordered a 4 XL (SCARY) I generally take a size 16 but have a large bustline with 38DDD. sooo. I didnt want to have to return it and thought that if it is a bit wide I could just take in the sides. WellIt really fits according to the sizes they posted. The 4XL was definately too big - but hard to say if the chest on the 3XL would have fit if I had gone down- here is what they post for sizes:Size:XL=US 12-14;Size: XXL=US 14-16Size:XXXL=US 16-18;Size:XXXXL=US 18-20So I do think I could have ordered the 3 XL as they post as a size 16-18. Anyway I will take the sides in on my own and it will fit perfect. The boy shorts are just a smidge big but work. I take them in if I need to. The other think I have to do is BUY A REAL BRA FOR UNDERNEATH. If you have a full bust line you will need more support. It has cups but no wire or real support. That is not a problem as Im used to paying $65- $75 for swimsuits. I purchased a convertible bra on amazon for $20 which should work just fine and give me all the support I need..This is so pretty I cannot tell you! Many people said it is see through... it is not. I thought it was going to be a fine see through chiffon. nope. it is a semi-opaque mesh knit swim fabric. so it is not completely opaque but you really cant see skin underneath. Maybe you can see the darker shadow where the pant come up to .. but it is not glaring. It is made well and the boy shorts are kind of almost a seer-sucker material. I couldn't be happier with this suit. Trust their size chart- I find it very accurate. Maybe not the same as my XL in USA sizes, but accurate to what THEY post as the sizing. It has strings inside the top at the waist that you tie it to the strings on the inside of the top of the panty -so it can fly up and castch an embarrassing wind.Im taking this on a cruise and I think it will be perfect as a bit "fancier" suit than just at the beach. oh yeah... and it hides all the stuff I want to hide

Perfect for someone like me!
I've been struggling to find a swimsuit because I'm the biggest I've ever been right now, I'm tall, and I'm also not proportioned at all! I was pregnant with triplets last year and gained a lot of weight then ended up losing 2 of the 3 at almost 30 weeks. I still have all that weight and have gained even more since I had my son due to being a stay at home mom and the slight depression for awhile. I generally wear anywhere from a L-2x depending on what it is. I am all belly! My legs and arms are slender for my size. I don't have huge boobs like a lot of bigger women either. I bought a 5x. Flowy isn't very flattering for big girls but I actually feel comfortable in this suit. It fit well for my body. Length is always an issue too. I'm 5'10 and this covered me well. It was a little big on my boobs but not as bad as I thought it would be. It's also not hideous. I would like to post a photo for others to reference but it's not letting me unfortunately. Take your measurements before you pick a size!
