Good garage door vibration alarm
Best use: noise deterrent behind garage doorI use it on my garage door, it is very loud if you are standing inside the garage but less loud on the outside so I have three of them on the most sensitive and most loud setting, alarm can be adjusted to different levels of loudness and sensitivity and you can program multiple units to a single remote which is very handy. I would not recommend the most sensitive setting for a bike left outside overnight or a garage exposed to the elements as it will probably annoy the neighbors, but thankfully my garage door is protected from the wind and the elements. On the most sensitive setting a light tap on the door is enough to set it off so it is not possible to mess with the garage door without making noise, and that is something I really like. Combined with a sturdy door, heavy duty hasps and heavy duty padlocks it makes for a very good first line of defence. If your door/hasps/padlocks are weak thieves are going to take their chances with the alarm, but if they know it will take them time and effort to go through your first line of defence the noise alarm becomes an effective extra layer of security. I recommend installing two for more noise, three is rather excessive.Reading some comments here, this is not a car alarm and not a proper motorbike alarm either but you can use it on a motorbike as an extra layer of security to complement your padlocks, chains etc. If used on a motorbike you want to find the optimal spot so it is hidden away but at the same time can pick up vibrations easily and it is not too muffled by surrounding material. Again two will do a better job as a deterrent.I haven't had any quality issues yet, batteries last a few weeks then start beeping to let you know it's time to replace them, all in all good product for the price. Recommended for garage doors

I jump a mile when I forget it’s on
After I had my light stolen off the front of my electric bike, I bought this for extra security and I love it. I like that you can change the sensitivity but to do so it makes a loud noise which isn’t fun for your ears. Maybe they could change the programming so it’s easier to personalise without destroying your ears. When I get back to my bike and go to put something in my pannier bag I am met with a heart attack because I slightly nudged the bike. If I were a thief trying to be sneaky and this thing went off, I would die. Battery life is also seriously impressive. Only criticism is that it is held on with cable ties and double sided tape… which isn’t what I’d call impenetrable. I’d recommend keeping it out of sight or inside something so thieves can’t just rip it off. Having said that, for them to remove it would trigger the alarm so… maybe they could rip it off and throw it really far. Hardly a pick pocketer’s move. Would definitely recommend getting one of these.
