It’s what I needed to fix my chair. It was really hard to install but I’m not sure it’s the products fault - I’m thinking it’s more of the installer’s (me) lack of experience. It works. 7/10 would recommend.

I liked it fit well

It worked on our old Lane recliner sofas but had to trim it a little.

I had to make some modifications, but it works fine.

Was not exact replacement, but I drilled a hole and made it work.

This part was half the price of the OEM but the color was slightly off. No issue for me since my latch isn’t visible and it’s not a big difference anyway. The part did require slight modification to fit - I removed a plastic tab and shaved another one down. Other than that install was fairly easy. Works great.

Out of the "box" this did not fit my Lane recliner sofa. It has a couple of extra hooks for attachment and the main hook attachments would not allow the critical screw holes to line up. After considerable (and careful) modification with a Dremel-type tool, I was able to obtain a fit. In the end, the mechanism has a very nice, smooth pull to it. My 2-star "easy to install" rating mostly because I am not a skilled handyman.

It did work on my old but in excellent condition sofa. I had a handyman to install this item. With some difficulty, he did install and it’s working great. I am very happy with it. The store I bought the sofa from andp the manufacture company didn’t have this part. But I got it from Amazon. Wasn’t sure it would work! But it did. That’s why I like the product. I I was a bit difficult to install. But it was worth it.
