Passports are a valuable ID, and this cover is first I've come across to protect the RFID blocking chip.I feel a little more confident as I often travel in Asia, where a passport UK one has significant street value.It is at best a simple cover, low-cost plastic, but the item is not in the luxury area.The folded edges are a little sharp, so take care if you need to put into your pocket.Otherwise, it's a good idea, and better than the silly plastic clear covers which are given free from visa offices.

It's a good looking cover for your passport. Protects against ID theft. You do not want your passport data stolen. This should do the job. Fits my UK passport like a glove.

Great quality and fit great on my passport!Good value for money!

I am not super keen on the design of the passport but was pleasantly surprised by the quality/feel of it.It comes well protected in its retail packaging and has a nice smooth feel when removed. The main selling point for this protective case from what I can see is its DOUBLE RFID protection.I would say overall a nice item, but certainly not the cheapest on the market, and could do with being prices sub £10

Exacompta Hidentity Passport Protective CaseThis is a plain black soft plastic wallet with the word Passport, along with an image of the world printed on the front cover. The cover measures 13.6 x 10 cm, it also quite stiff, probably due to the RFID data protection. Inside the wallet are 2 transparent plastic sleeves which house the passport.This slips into the pocket nicely, as it's quite stiff it should help protect the passport from bending. To be honest, I had to carry out some research to find out what RFID protection was? For those like me I will explain. RFID stands for 'Radio Frequency Identification Device' these are wafer thin chips that contain all of your passport information. The chips can quickly be scanned to gain that information, this wallet will protect your passport from being scanned illegally without your knowledge.Although this houses the passport nicely, along with the RFID protection, I do feel the wallet is a little overpriced for what it is. Poor quality.

This cover is great if you have problems with the passport getting damaged or dirty during travels, however, I find that if you travel often, the advantages of the protection are no longer so great, because you ahve to be very careful every time you take it out of the cover or put it on again as it fits exactly with little space to spare and that can create some damage to the passport.Maybe consider one that is easier to put on/off if you travel often as you will have to take the cover off to go through passport control etc.
