The media could not be loaded.  I'm so pleased with this nesting box. I only put it up 2 weeks ago and a pair of bluetits have just found it.It was ready to hang up (a fixing already on the back of the box and just a screw put in my fence to hang it from).It looks great and I can't wait to see more of the new residents in the coming months!A useful written insert giving info about nesting boxes was also included. This was great as it is my first one and I didn't know much about them before.Well made, a good price, and most importantly, the birds seem to love it! Would definitely recommend.

This is a very neat and sturdy box. The hinged lid is fixed down with a screw to prevent movement. The proportions are good for small birds and a generous roof extension protects rain getting in the hole.It attaches by a hole at the back, which is easy and quick to fix, and being metal will not wear away. It came with useful notes.I added a fixing bracket to the bottom to stabilise it, as when attached to a tree the single fixing point doesn't hold it stable.Very good value, rapid delivery, no wasteful packaging. I would definitely buy again.

Nice big overhang on the roof to stop predators getting in. Well made. Good quality. We've put a camera inside them to keep an eye on the birds

These are really well made of good solid timber. Look lovely when hung up. We haven’t had any visitors to them yet but it’s still early in the season. Would recommend.

Visually pleasing and simple but lightweight design. Bought 4 but one arrived with loose brackets and split wood where roof screw enters. Bird hole rough so needs sanding and no holes in base for ventilation. Wood is only 1cm thick compared to the 1.5cm recommended by bird charities for warmth (and improved sturdiness). Pleased to have got them fast and easier than making myself but going to add a bit of roof tile for improved waterproofness, have drilled small holes in base for ventilation and sanded entrance hole. Overall pleased and were good price but may be sturdier options out there and will make more durable ones myself when have the time!

For the money the boxes are very sturdy, just the hinges are feeble but then it's not as if you are going to be opening it very often.

Leider kann ich kein Foto anbieten, denn nach wenigen Tagen wurde der Nistkasten bereits von einem Meisenpärchen inspiziert und bezogen. Die Ausgabe hat sich mehr als nur gelohnt. Der Nistkasten hängt etwas über Kopfhöhe auf einer Seite meines Balkon, Herr oder Frau Meise hat ein wenig von der Öffnung abgeklopft und dann das ganze eingerichtet & gepolstert. Nun fliegen beide unaufhörlich hin und her um das Jungtier zu füttern. Leider weiß ich nicht ob es zwei oder nur ein Jungvogel ist. Ich habe große Freude daran, das Holz wurde toll verarbeitet und ist vorallem Geruchsfrei - was besonders wichtig ist. Im Herbst kommt ein weiter dieser Nistkästen auf die andere Seite des Balkon.

Había leído aquí reseñas negativas, pero me han sorprendido gratamente. Son de buen material, vienen montadas, con un sistema sencillo para limpiarlas. Quizás la única pega es que tienen agujero en la base par evacuar el agua en caso de que entrase, pero con una broca se las he hecho y listas para colgar. El colgador que trae, también parece que va a resultar fácil clavando un simple tornillo en el tronco del árbol. Y a un precio increíble. Solo hace falta que les guste a los pájaros y las habiten, que espero que sí.

J’ai acheté ce nichoir en fin d’année 2020. Il est bien suffisant en taille pour les oiseaux comme les mésanges.Tout l’hiver celles-ci ont fait des aller-retours dedans car c’est la période où elles recherchent un coin pour nicher au printemps. Je ne les ai pas trop surveillé non plus car il faut leur laisser leur intimité mais ce matin (début Mai-21) j’ai vu plusieurs aller-retours de mésanges bleues avec des insectes dans le bec. Donc l’installation de ce nichoir est un succès.Je n’ai pas mis de perchoir car ce n’est pas recommandé par la LPO, les mésanges ont de bonnes griffes et même sur du plat s’accroche très bien. De plus, une branche d’arbre n’est pas très loin si besoin pour les futurs petits.J’ai juste vérifié l’intérieur et la visserie, et rajouté un crochet pour l’attacher sur le haut car je ne pouvais pas le mettre sur le tronc. Il tient bien et il est solide malgré les vents forts que j’ai dans ma région.Je suis satisfait de mon achat, même si le premier reçu était cassé (dû au transport), après l’échange de celui-ci tout s’est bien passé. J’ai pris aussi le FSC pour plus de résistance. Il faudra que j’en achète un deuxième...
