Home Budget Workbook (with removable cover band) Spiral-bound – July 30, 2014

My husband has been using this to record and track our expenses. Being on a single income since retiring every penny needs to be accounted for. Only thing negative I have to comment about is that there are a lot of categories that we don’t use and could use a bit more EMPTY rows to personalize our expenses. Other than that this is a very important part of our budgeting and expenditure use.

I love this Home Budget book. It's small, simple, but complete. I'm just starting to try to get my act in order, and so I ordered a couple of these. I ordered this one (which I love) as well as the Dome Simplified Home Budget Book. As soon as I'm done writing this review, I'm going to go ahead and send the Dome book back, because it's inferior (not to mention antiquated.)I'm going to start using this in January (aahhh, New Years resolutions) and if I find that it's a good fit for me, I'll probably order a couple more in the off chance that they're not available next year!!! I hope you like it too :)

I bought this book in conjunction with “zero down your debt” Holly Porter Johnson and Greg Johnson.I knew if I was going to take this serious and get back on track I wanted to have a place where I could budget and see everything written out in pen/pencil right in front of my eyes.Now, I understand you can get pretty much any type of notebook and replicate this.But I’ll have to admit I will definitely be buying a second book when this one is filled up.I love how simple and easy everything is laid out for me. Takes the guesswork out of a lot of doing it on my own.I am proud to say that using both of these books in conjunction and applying the skills to my life I have happily saved up nearly $300. OK, I know that seems like chump change and it probably is and it most likely is.But to me trust me that is a huge huge accomplishment to be able to save up more than $100 and pay my bills. It’s like *WOOT WOOT*

I purchased this book instead of the usual (Dome(R) Simplified Home Budget Book, 7 1/2in. x 10 1/2in., Teal) that I had been buying and using for 20 years. BIG MISTAKE! It wasn't worth the $3.00 I saved. This book is of inferior material which seems will not last in my files for years. While it is organized and detailed, it is NOT as detailed as the Dome brand.Trust me on this pne, spend the extra few dollars and buy the higher quality brand stated above.

I started using this budget workbook almost one month ago, have enjoyed the process so far, and look forward to what I can learn from keeping track each day of every dollar I spend and how I spent it. In the past, I've never really had a very clear idea of how much I spend on clothing, for example, and I think it will be interesting to see exactly where my money goes and then to determine whether or not I want to make changes in my spending habits.

Rip off- I could have set up an excel spreadsheet. I wanted something to stick in my bag and keep it moving. The lines doesn’t have space to write in— I wouldn’t buy it- get a ruler and make your own!!

By far the best budget tracker book I've used, and I've used quite a few. Just in case they stop making them I purchased two extra ones. They have 31 days listed for each month but the months and years are blank so you can start using the budget book whenever. I love that feature. Also, It has actual decent and realistic tips in it for regular ordinary everyday people. Highly recommend this book. Please don't stop making it.
