I got this to open my cheese sauce jars. I have a hard time opening some of the jars and this things makes life easier. Works great a all jars that are hard to open. Great gifts for older people too that can't open jars that well.

Best inovation in the world. It's super hard to open a jar and I hate it.This tool solves my problem and could easily open a jar.

I used to have one of these about 20 years ago. Found it a few months ago. SO HAPPY TO HAVE ONE AGAIN! Makes opening jars so much easier with the arthritis in my hands. Jars that I have had to pound on cabinet, hit repeatedly with knife to pop seal, pop open with little strength needed. At least, most of the jars. One or two have been slightly problematic. It claims you can take a soda bottle cap off. I have not been able to do so, but will try again later.

It's works pretty good on smaller jars. Kind of hard to use on large jars. It doesn't grip the lid tight enough.

I bought this to open very tight small cap water and juice bottles because of the many 5-star reviews but it's useless and I trashed it. It's award to adjust, operate and the smooth jaws slip on the caps. This opener works great and simple to use. I bought this one for a gift for an older friend who was having trouble getting jar covers off.. I use mine all the time and makes things much easier to open. Fast shipping and good price.

I bought it to help me to open a jar of pasta sauce. I have arthritis in both my hands so doing it without somebody to help me is impossible. However to use this item I have to use both my hands and that’s impossible to get the jar open. Some someone with better hands than I could probably do it.

Item as described and easy to use. I tried it on a 3" jar lid and it worked perfectly.

A really good remake of an old idea. Makes it really easy to open stubborn jars especially if you are getting a bit older (and weaker). I have been trying to find one for years. My Grand mother had one back in the 1950's.

I've had a few bottle openers in my time but this is the easiest to use! I hope it lasts.
