Wild Cat Pre-Molded Catfish Bait

Been using this bait for a few years, great product catfish love it, you just to compress it on your hook tight as possible

I tried using these for fly traps, but since we live in a desert climate they loose monster quickly.If using them in a fly trap and they are kept wet, not only will they attract flies, but they helped trap a good few yellow jackets too.

Was skeptical due to the price, but all in all it was a very effective bait. Caught 2 within the first 20 minutes my line was in the water. Only issue, and it's very minor, I didn't use the whole bag in one trip and when I took it out a week later some were dry and hard to mold, but still did the job. On a budget, try these out for sure!

It was hard to keep the bait on the hook. Other than that It seem d good.

Used this May 20 2023 on Lake Tillery in NC. We caught channel cats. Stayed on hook much better than I expected. Not real messy either. Was easy to form onto hook and is very economical as well.

Went fishing at our favorite catch and release lake for a week. We had been using cocktail sausages and catching everything, including more than two dozen catfish. Ran out of sausages and decided to try this bait while waiting for my wife to return with more sausages. I had brought it as a backup if the fish turned their noses up at the cocktail sausages. I didn't get a nibble and even left my line out, while grabbing another pole, when more sausages arrived. Continued to catch fish with the sausages, while the catfish bait was ignored. Tried off and on for several days and not a bite.

Not a bite in 2 trips, it may work better in a river with current. I was at a lake.

It's really good! I would say definitely use these in areas you know catfish are because fish in our lake our picky so if I can get them, you can too. It's a little tricky getting them on some hooks, especially the bigger hooks for the catfish ironically but as long as you keep them in a cool place it'll be okay. Again KEEP IN COOL PLACE because if you leave them in the heat they start to break apart and become useless.

Bait works well for catfish in my area. I've been using chicken wieners for ages but, this bait has upped the game a bit. They are designed for treble hooks and can be hard to keep on a bait hook. I wrap them up like a spawn sack using a single layer of medical gauze and magic thread, and this keeps the ball together and on my hook. Really can't be beaten for the price.

There are no cat fish in my area. This stuff smells worse than a manure farm. But the crabs and fish love it. Great for small fish too just pull off a wad and squish it around your hook for a guaranteed bite.
