Auto Ventshade [AVS] In-Channel Ventvisor / Window Deflectors | Fits 2013 - 2019 Ford Escape, 4 pcs. | Smoke - 194383

I purchased these after purchasing same model and style for previous car and loving them. They look good but the packing was not well done. I like to take the visors out of the package and let them sit in the sunshine for some time to get warm and flexible. Unfortunately, the protective tape on the adhesive stuck to the plastic wrapping and came off immediately. This required me to immediately install them while some sat with the sticky side exposed to the elements. It also required me to quickly find an assistant to roll up the windows while I installed/held them in place (had previously planned a time).

Allows you keep the windows open on a hot day and not worry about rain. Use them on all of our vehicles.

The red tape was have way off the pieces when taking it out. Not sure if it is sticky enough. We will see

I opted for the in-channel option because I wanted a cleaner look. 4 stars due to customer service, but generally seemed more trouble than it was worth.Took 3 tries to install, and I was meticulous each time in terms of sanding, cleaning, and adding pressure as I installed - I had no trouble with the rear windows, but the front ones were a pain. The first time, both front window shades didn't adhere (specifically, the sides of the window shade towards the rear - I added a photo - the rubber here seemed to have more flex / room than elsewhere, and the tape just wasn't able to maintain a grip). Customer service was helpful and sent me a kit to reinstall. Second time (this time, with adhesion promoter, which was absent from the initial kit) one window was ok but the other still didn't quite stick. The third time I consulted my Ford Escape forum, and, reading other accounts, I decided that wedges would be helpful. I added wedges from folded paper into the troublesome side to help keep pressure up over the 72 hours it was adhering. Now it's all set.

Only complaint it the 2 sided tape pulled away in less than a week, so I had to take them all off, scrape the old tape off the car (in the places it did actually stick) and the vents, clean both with alcohol and put new tape on.

These are great! They fit perfectly on each of my windows. They made my Ford Escape look a little more sportier. They look great and are functional too. I can now crack my windows when it’s raining and not worry about the rain coming into the car the shields prevent the rain from entering the vehicle. I would definitely recommend.

Good fit and easy to install. Warning says we cannot go through a car wash with them on. Disappointed in that. But like them.

Fit wasn’t 100% but close. Adhears very well I have had these on for about 2 months and just completed a 5,000k trip with zero issue. Bought these for the trip as I thought they would allow you to open your window partially without the wind noise but it was nearly the opposite. They look good on n the vehicle and at least when the car was parked you can crack open a windo and no one can tell I would buy again

I've used Auto Ventshade products before, with good success, so I know I can trust them. These ones appeared a little thinner than I remembered in others, but seemed strong and rigid enough, and fit well. The 3M adhesive tape sticks extremely well if you use their cleaner pads (included) to remove any dirt/wax.My preference would have been to have the front window ones a few inches longer, so they came further forward. However they were already past the front edge of the glass by a few inches, and that should be enough to keep anything other than driving rain/snow from getting in with the windows cracked open.
