Gorgeous! These faux storage books are made of high quality. My first impression straight out of the box, was wow, these are really nice. These were a great value for the money and they were perfect on my work desk to complete my dark academia theme. Definitely 10 out of 10.

Decorative and functional novelty storage for the ‘junk” you throw on your dresser. Now you can hide it in these nifty decorative book boxes. I put my hair clips in one. Prescription glasses in another. I have over ten pairs and it fits nicely even with the glass cases. Now when I want to quickly change my glasses to match outfit it’s quick and easy. The third one I use for whatever receipts I have collected during the week to file away. No more messes on dresser.

I didn't expect much for these safe storage units that hide in plain sight, but I must admit, I am thoroughly Impressed!! These safe storage "books" have a satisfying, silky smooth, leather finish. They are not heavy at all. Rather these item offer security for valuables and are of high quality workmanship. Three (3) different size books, three (3) different size storages!! I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is security conscious or anyone simply looking to have valuables not wander off on their own. Quality construction. Quality materials. First the bad: Those pesky stickers are an abomination. For the love of all things holy, don't put them on the outside! However, I did follow the instructions in some of the other reviews here and they came off with a little bit of effort. One of them was a bit stubborn and some dye came off, but I dabbed on some archival ink from a stamp pad with a piece of felt and that took care of it. Now, the GOOD: I've collected quite a few of these book boxes over the years and these are, by far, the loveliest ones I now own. The leather is buttery soft. The seams are neat. The embossing is well done. The spine has a beautiful curve and is exactly the gothic library aesthetic I was looking for. They are very well made. The largest one can really hold a lot! I would buy another set in a heartbeat. Very, very happy with these.

Okay the books themselves are pretty nice. The padded covers and faux leather detailing make them feel good to handle and I quite like them on my shelf. However reading all the other reviews about the barcode stickers I was like "surely these bozos just don't know how to properly remove a sticker" but no. This has to be the strongest adhesive known to man. NASA engineered. Military industrial grade. It doesn't really ruin the boxes for me but these half peeled stickers sure are silly looking.

These right here are some lovely faux storage boxes. The dark brown (dark coffee) color is exactly what I wanted and the boxes seem to be very well made. The outside feels like imitation leather (soft) and the insides are lined with nice fabric (in my case, dark brown). These look fabulous atop my entryway furniture and are affordable to boot.

We purchased these book boxes after much researching. We are very happy with the look, and construction of these boxes. We may add some sort of closure, but ordered knowing these were the best sizes + looked the best for our application. We also knew about the stickers. The stickers are every bit as annoying as other reviews state. My hubby, having experience with building, finishing/preserving surfaces in general; states to remove these stickers, one should carefully peel off the surface paper leaving the 'sticky'. No, it won't' come off with the paper. After removing the paper, squirt a very small amount of WD 40 on a paper towel. Apply to the sticky residue to remove it. Follow up with a damp paper towel, then dry the book surface. Voila!! No sticky residue. Your surface will not be marred nor will the color be impaired. Enjoy your book boxes without the nasty stickers. And thanks to all of you who have written reviews for products helping us!

A little pricey, but looks great. Looks much better in my bedroom that odds and ends lying around. Also handy for nightstand items you want in easy reach and not in a drawer.
