The build quality is extremely good. Easy to setup and use. Didn't know I needed one until I did.

Fantastic
I am a quieter singer for the most part. I like to make alt pop with a sort of hushed vocal, though I do branch out a bit into a louder vocal. But I really needed a boost in volume going into my DAW so I could work immediately with the audio without having to normalize each take or use a similar approach. This really did work even better than I hoped.Somebody complained that it was heavy and fell off their mic. I had the same experience until I realized you sort of have to slightly wiggle it and get it to click onto the mic. Since then, I've had no trouble. At first, it can seem like it's on, but it needs just a little bit more of a push to snap on to your XLR connector. Just make sure you activate your phantom power on your audio interface, or else you won't notice any difference. The boost on this is just amazing for the price. I had considered another much more expensive option, but I have a tight budget as this is my hobby. Honestly, I highly recommend this thing and I probably should buy another one just to have on hand.

Killer
I recently bought a UAD SD-1 and even though the preamps on my Antelope audio interface had more than enough gain on its preamps to handle the SD-1. I decided to purchase this particular mic booster because of price and wanting to take some of the load off of my interface’s preamp. To my surprise, this Mic booster packs a lot of punch in a small package. It is well-built and easy to use/set up. It does not appear to affect the quality of sound coming from the mic in any negative way. It is clear and articulate, doing exactly what you’d expect of a mic booster. If I ever needed another mic booster, I’d choose this over the competition due to its price to performance ratio.

Solid unit. Clean sound.
Item works well. Clean sound and easy to use. A good problem solver to have in the bag. The downside is unit has a large diameter and cannot plug directing into a female jack, such as on a mult box. In this case, a cable has to be between box and booster.Otherwise unit works well and seems to be well built.

Works as well as the much more expensive and well-known brands out there.
Bought one of these on a suggestion from Bark at Obscure Mics. It works as well as any of the "name brand" mic gain boosters that cost 2-4x as much. I use it with a a Shure SM7b, a notoriously gain-hungry microphone, and it does just fine. No audible noise and I really like the fact that it's much more compact and easier to work into tight spaces. Klark Teknik has been a seriously underrated brand for years. This is a hidden gem more folks need to know about. It just works, and at a great price.

Broke within 2 months
I was very excited for this cause of the price. I don't think I can trust it though. All it did was sit on my desk in the same spot and it broke within 2 months. Just straight up stopped. On top of that it is literally impossible to remove the cable from one side. You will get very frustrating swapping cables with this thing. I'm in a band and also mix a lot. I definitely cannot trust this while gigging. Unless the company does something to sway my decision I would advise getting a different brand like the TNT for little extra.

Excellent value for the money.
I was a bit skeptical to try this db booster that is 1/3 of the cost of a FET. I use it with shure SM7B. If I had more than one SM57 I would have bought a backup. It is much lighter than other boosters, but it does exactly what they claim it will do.
