Hawaiian 40's Retro Vintage-Styled Hula Pin Up Girl Car Dashboard Doll Style May Vary

I love this hula girl. I've purchased 2 but 1 needed to be replaced by Amazon. She's packaged in a clear, lightweight, circular container which isnt meant to protect the item......and it doesnt. Particularly when they put it in an amazon envelope. I dont see any common sense here. A some what fragile item in an envelope. I called Amazon and they shipped another after with assurance that it would be in a box. It wasnt. The hula girl is ok, but her container is not suitable for gift giving.The hula girl : some sort of plastic, not the regular, snap in half kind. She's adorable and so vintage looking, just as advertised. Her grass skirt is like crepe-corn stalk and cute. She stands on a platform that has sticky adhesion for a dashboard on an RV or boat. Both reasons why I bought her.Her hair is plastic (the whole thing is except her skirt), and kind of red, her figure is to die for. Her hula skirt dances with her every move. Positively the cutest hula girl out there.But shipping needs to be addressed. I need one more.I need to send the broken one back. They wouldn't accept the pictures of her in pieces and now I need to venture out into a covid world so they can have their broken doll back.All in all, I will buy one more, inspite of all this. She's worth it. The first son I gave her to loved it for his boat and commented how much she looked like his wife.Please address the shipping, Amazon. I will get this same girl everytime I need one. She's adorable. I would still recommend her but order ahead of time, in case you need replacing if you have my luck. Fortunately I had time to wait for a new one that came 1 day early.

I bought this for a friend to put on his dashboard after we discovered the song, "Dashboard Hula Girl". He loved it and it fits the words of the song perfectly.

Really cute but the skirt fell off first day it was in the car. Like the glue was cheap or the wrong kind for it to be exposed to varying temperatures on a dash of a car (I'm guessing a hot glue since it literally melted off)

Love this dashboard hula girl! I wanted one for my vintage blue Mini Clubman and this one was perfect! I love that not only is she a pin up hula girl, but she’s dressed a little more conservatively then some of the more provocative hula girls. What a great way to personalize my vehicle. Sticks great too!

I put the girl on my dashboard of my van. It is hot here in Louisiana. The next day it was leaning over and the grass skirt was coming off. I inspected it and noticed the body parts had been glued to a metal spring with some sort of substance like silicon. The glue was melting because of the heat inside the van. I have another hula girl on my dash that is not affected by the heat. This product is so cheap made. I will glue and fix it myself and should be able to display it. Unless you are a engineer of a fabricator, I would not buy this product.
