There is not a digital copy of this. Glad to find the DVD on Amazon. Love James Wood. He won an award for his performance. Being in a 12 step program, it was cool to see.

I have been looking all over for this video, not available on downloads or anywhere. Shipping was quick a bit pricy for an older DVD but it was exactly what I wanted to watch for a few years.

I've been to Founders' Day in Ohio & to Dr Bob's house. This is the best, most authentic film about the beginning of Alcoholics Anonymous

A well done movie based on the beginnings of Alcoholics Anonymous. Both James Woods(Bill W.) and James Garner(Dr. Bob) give two great performances of these great men, the first two members and founders of AA. Being a member of AA myself, I am very grateful that this movie is an accurate(yet brief), portrayal of our founding members and the horrible disease from which we suffer. Hopefully it will help people to recognize themselves and get help and to educate the general public about this disease and how they might help.

I thought the storyline would be more about the writing of the Big Book but it was more about his life. Maybe I should have read the description better.

If you are an alcoholic or are related to one and want to know how AA got started, watch this.
