As for the buffet itself: it went together very easily, but feels sturdy and looks beautiful. We are actually using it as an island in our master walk-in closet.The issue: the item was shipped missing a piece (the side of the drawer).The resolution: I contacted the seller via Amazon. The service agent responded quickly and explained that, ordinarily, they would ship the part immediately. However, the item was out of stock. I was offered a discount as compensation, in the hope that we could source the piece elsewhere, and accepted. The first contact about the missing piece was yesterday, and I have already received the email that the partial refund is being processed. I would buy from this seller again any day and appreciate the excellent customer service and beautiful product. (Also, we were able to make a replacement piece from some spare wood with the table saw and a drill, so it's all good now!)TL,DR: beautiful buffet. missing piece, resolved quickly with partial refund

We weren't quite sure what we were going to get for such a great price, and were pleasantly surprised. The cabinet is heavy, and well made, with holes all in the right places for assembly and no damaged wood, etc. It was packaged well in two boxes, and each piece was labeled well. Word of advice for assembly: Be prepared to take a long time...like 3-4 hours. Use a drill for screws and have wood glue handy for the pegs. The instructions have NO written anything, just pictures. We spent a lot of our assembly time studying the pictures to make sure we had the pieces laid out correctly. We took everything out of the boxes and laid everything out, in order, before even starting, or else you will have problems! The pictures don't even tell you front or back or which side to use. So you have to really study them and figure out what is top and bottom and front and back. One person can do most of the assembly alone, but two people need to lay the top and bottom pieces as it takes a little movement to get it all lined up. Once assemble, the cabinet has lots of storage and is really sturdy. We are enjoying it in our breakfast room as a coffee/breakfast cabinet for toaster, coffee machines, etc.

Great price for a very nice piece! Assembly was a bit of a challenge since we are not DIY'ers. Other than that it is a sturdy & attractive addition to our kitchen. We have received many compliments on our island!

I am really impressed with this piece of furniture! Very sturdy, solid, well made, nice looking, nice hardware. I could go on and on. Was a bit of a challenge to assemble but it was worth it! Looks great in our kitchen! We use it as an island. The top portion is ok for the price. I didn’t think it was rugged enough and would look good for very long so, we had a ½ thick piece of glass made for the top. That made it perfect! And it looks really nice!When we move into our new house, I plan to use it as a craft & hobby cabinet and I plan on chalk painting it to give it a little pizzaz. I highly recommend this product! I really feel that the price was very fair too!

I have put a lot of pieces together like this before and knew it would take a lot of time. This one took about 2.5 hours. End result is a very nice piece of furniture that looks great and is very sturdy. One important thing to point out is that when something this heavy is shipped via UPS or Fed Ex that there is always a possibility of damage. This arrived with 2 major pieces damaged. Every piece had a sticker with the part number so it was easy to identify. I contacted customer service for the company and they shipped me the 2 replacement pieces within a couple days. Important to be patient and not in a hurry to put this together. Directions are very good but must be followed precisely. Great price for end result.

The assembly directions need to be more clear and concise. They have you build it in a weird order the directions are not very clear. The hardware given is not that good quality. However the finished product is very good.

Kitchen island was somewhat easy to put together. You definitely need two people at certain points. Some of the pieces were cheap and flimsy. For extra support I added wood glue and a couple of brackets. The overall look is good. I guess I expected better quality.

So let me start off by saying the height of this cabinet is perfect for chopping food or regular kitchen work. It’s about mid abdomen height and is perfect for taller people. I am 5’6. It is very sturdy. I put it together myself no extra help and it was fairly easy. It took me about 3 hours. And it is just the best.
