Purchased this for keeping our important documents safe. It is a good size, and very sturdy. Easy to unlock with the key, it hasn't gotten stuck or jammed.

Heavy duty and well made. Consider that your inner dimensions are even smaller than you might expect. I looked at that very closely before ordering but I was still surprised how fast it fills up. I purchased to protect items from fire and wanted something portable and I think it is perfect. I also purchased a set of fire proof bags to store cash inside the safe, for extra safety. Great purchase!

Solid keys and safe to secure your essentials.This is supposed to be fireproof - so I'm not 100% certain if the white powder I keep wiping off the interior is toxic??

I guess I shouldn't have been surprised, because the wait was listed on Amazon, but this thing is surprisingly heavy. Hopefully that translates to sturdiness and fire resistance. I bought it to keep essential documents (wills, passports, etc.) in as part of a to-go kit in the event of a fire. It seems to be roomy enough for my needs. The lock isn't particularly sturdy, I'm sure it could be opened with a screwdriver or a pry bar but I'm not using it for security as the primary purpose so it seems that it will work well for me.

Great item. Haven't tested the water or fire proofedness. Don't expect to fit tax returns in safe. Buy the bigger one. This one is for my important personal documents. SS card, passport etc.
