I really like the fact that the paper doesn't tare. Since I'm using it as a journal. However, I would have like the paper to be jet black. The lines are wide enough were you could use a calligraphy pen or marker, which I really like.

Not happy with these books. They are white paper with black printed on. The printed black is not even and dark plus the lines are larger than wide ruled

Overall I thought it was decent paper. I wanted it for my calligraphy so I would have preferred it a little thicker, but it was decent overall. Great for practice.

The book is larger than expected and the pages are not even black. The pages look washed out. It almost looks as if the color was printed onto the paper to make it look like it's black paper. If that's the case, I could have just printed them myself..

Glossy cover like a good ol' scholastic book. Possibly the widest rule I've ever seen outside of grade school paper for practicing cursive. But the pages are definitely black.

Of the 9 types of black notebook paper I purchased, this one is #5 of 9. The paper is nice quality, but the printing work of black ink over white paper is very shoddy and inconsistent. The line space is wide rule, but there are vertical and horizontal streaks in the printing where the black ink was not evenly distributed over the page. The white lines that are supposed to be there are a nice middle brightness.

My only complaint is the lines are huge, my fault for assuming it would be normal size lines paper. I do love the thickness of the paper.

PRO:It's very inexpensive.CONS:The paper is NOT black, it's gray. Gel pens that look terrific on black don't show up well at all.I put some very low-tack tape on the page and when I tried to remove it, it tore the paper. This happened more than once.The cover is thin, and so the book curls easily.

Still trying to find the perfect pens for this black paper notebook. It's big and the paper is really smooth and thicker than binder paper which I didnt expect.

It's a really well made notebook. I can't wait to use it. I'm waiting for my gel markers
