No you cannot make roti on this. This is good for dosa and pancakes of all kinds but not roti. For that probably a roti tawa is better

Cleaning instructions

Excellent pan. I often clean it with warm water and a paper towel. Add liquid soap when needed. Once in a while put it in the dishwasher. Best pan I ever bought. Love it. Very easy to clean.
