VI Series 600VA/360W Compact Battery backup solution with built-in AVR, HID Supported, Cold (DC) Start Function (LCD Screen)

I plugged it in. Plugged my computer in. Followed the instructions (yes clear instructions in English yay!) on how turn it on. And it just works. Tested it by turning off the power at the socket and my computer stayed on. I had to buy a usb cord as that is not included. But once I attached the usb, my computer now thinks it is like a laptop with a battery, and the power settings work seamlessly with the UPS. I just tell the computer how long to stay on before going to sleep when on battery power. So simple. No sofware to install (at least not with Windows 10). So very pleased.I have not tested to see how long my computer will run on battery backup, or tried their tech support. But as there were actual readable instructions and the thing works, tech support were not needed.

Cheap UPS that works perfectly with the DS220. The battery doesn't last very long, but long enough to kick off the auto shutdown on the NAS if there's a power cut, and that's all I wanted. You'll need a printer type USB cable into the UPS.

Sturdy unit with standard 3-pin sockets unlike many others so items can be plugged in direct without sourcing other mains leads. Works as soon as you turn it on. Good, clear instructions. I've used it on my CCTV and PC to guarantee at least a bit of time to shut down or carry on recording if the power goes off. Connect it via a USB and download the software and you can get your pc to shut down cleanly but if you don't want to do this it'll still work fine and you can just turn the pc off manually if required. You can spend lots more but this works perfectly for me.

plug and play and to be honest 10/10. Came in without the USB cable (i got mine from old printer), plugged in to NAS and UPS, showed up in QTS in external devices tab.Configured as well in external devices tab, and set to usb connection, turn off after 5 min after power fails. tested 2x by unplugging UPS from main, it showed up abnormal state and UPS, as well sent notification that NAS will shuts off in 5 min unless power comes back. So far so good :)

Very easy to set up and the webbased monitoring software excellent. This dynamically updates, is well laid out and is highly configurable.During some storms several weeks ago, this device kept my computers alive and safe from harm during numerous brown outs over the course of the day. Since these were only if a couple of seconds each, we normally wouldn't have spotted them.Good product. Pleased with it.

I use this unit to backup a power supply for a Chinese diesel heat in my work shop, we had a power cut in the first week I fitted it so it already paid for itself.👍
