I did read all of the reviews before I bought this for my 2023 Tacoma Sport, short bed. It took me a several hours to install and everything went well, and I really love the end result look. I waited for a good rain to see how well it sealed and found that it leaked very little near the tailgate, but to be honest, I did not expect perfection, so I was very happy with how well it kept the water out. The directions could use some updating due to some of the differences between the directions and what was needed for my truck, but I did get it properly installed and I was impressed with the installation design which made it super easy to figure out and install. No cutting or drilling was needed except for the 2 drainage holes near the cab end of the bed. I used a step drill bit, then sealed around the hose once installed. I have used the cover in the various open positions and every position worked very well while driving at freeway speeds. I love the way it's designed to lock when the tailgate is locked. I also installed a tailgate extender and both the tailgate extender and cover worked well together. (They don't interfere with each other) I started to give this a 4-star due to the directions needing up dating, but due to the design being so easy to figure out what the directions lacked, I changed it to a 5-star. Very satisfied with this cover!

It was a decent install. I chose to not install the drain lines. Instructions were easy enough to navigate and it helped having another set of hands.PROS: slim line and good fitment, price for what it is, looks good on the truck, little tools required.CONS: the corners up front by cab leak no matter what you adjust, can’t use railing system with tie downs, the waterproof lining could have been engineered better for made in the USA.

This cover was a solid purchase. The installation went reasonably smoothly. We just had a punch of rain storms. And it did ok, and there was some leakage on the back side. But it wasn't enough to get anything wet. The only issue I had was I didn't realize it doesn't open all the way, only 2/3.

This bed cover was easy to install and fits perfectly on my 2023 Tacoma

The install was supposed to be easy only if the instructions were very clear and in "detail", which were not. I had to make some adjustments including shaving some material off the plastic latches that lock the cover. I understand it's not ONE SIZE FITS ALL but the manufacturer could have atleast mention it clearly that the latches won't always latch perfectly. Functionality wise, I think the product does the job. You're going to have some type of leak somewhere no matter what but I really don't mind because the purpose of having a cover is to protect your stuff from losers who like to steal other people's things. Aesthetically, I think it looks good. It looks clean and gives the truck another notch on the cool truck look. I hope it last a long time though.

I have had this cover for a couple of weeks now and so far I am very happy with how well it works and looks.Pros:Looks: I LOVE the looks of this thing and I love the low-profile design. It is extremely unobtrusive and it just really makes your truck look sharp.Moisture: I took this through a touchless car wash and it appears as though no water is getting into my bed.Cost: I ended up paying $566 for this cover after taxes because I had Amazon rewards, which is an insanely good deal, but it would still be worth $700 in my opinion.Installation: Installation took me about 45 minutes and you will need some tools. You will need a Torx bit to remove the front bar toward your cab and also a set of sockets will really help you tighten the nuts that attach to your rails.Cons: You HAVE to be at home when they deliver the package as they will not drop it off for you. What I ended up doing was having FedEx drop it off at a Drop-off location so I could pick it up.One small thing: The cover includes 2 drainage tubes that are meant to attach to the cover to divert water out of your bed; what they don't tell you in the description is that if you are installing this in a Tacoma, you will HAVE to drill holes into your bed to utilize those water tubes. It's not really the fault of the manufacturer, maybe it's more Toyota's fault for not pre-drilling the holes in the bed. I really don't want to drill into my bed so I likely won't be doing that, but just a heads up.Overall I am extremely happy with this cover. It looks great and functions well so far and the price is totally reasonable. I highly recommend this!
