The Bendy Spoon Encourages 'Baby Led' Or Self Weaning. When Babies Are Young They Have Less Flexibility And Reach In Their Arms. This Makes Feeding With A Normal Straight Spoon Difficult. The Bendy Spoon, However Can Be Adapted To Any Shape To Enable Babies To Feed Themselves,. Some Parents Also Find It'S Extra Reach Useful When Sitting Next To Babies Who Prefer To Look Away. It'S Adapatbility Also Means It Can Be Straightened Over Time To Avoid Bad Eating Habits Which Can Be Caused By Other Permanently Bent Spoons.

Overly long in length and meagre mouthfuls, but good for that first transition from hands to cutlery
Unlike the other reviewers my spoon was very easy to bend and it now permanently lives with a crick in its neck!It didn't really work for us at the beginning as my daughter following baby led weaning was more of a dipper and hands on sort of girl. Though this was highly recommended by a spoon-feeding mum who found it easier to feed whilst interacting round a family table using this spoon.Fast forward to 14 months baby girl could hold a spoon and understood how to use it, except she often tipped the contents over the chair or herself before the loaded spoon could get to her mouth.Enter this spoon. Yes it does make it easier for my daughter to get food to her own mouth which she is delighted by, and it does give small controlled mouthfuls which is great as she is very small for her age, but a bigger child may be unsatisfied, the problem is it's a bit long (like us eating everything with a sundae spoon) and maybe not chunky enough for the average toddler.Overall at 18 months it's rarely picked out of the drawer but it does help in that transition stage of hands to cutlery.

Wouldn't bend
I got this for a 15 month old baby, thinking it would bend so she wouldn't keep dropping her food when turning the spoon. No matter how we tried this spoon wouild not bend as instructions, in the end my daughter managed to bend it but it snapped. To be perfectly honest this may have been a manufacturer error on this one, but it is a good idea for teaching a baby to feed itself. The seller was very fair with me, I had disposed of the spoon as would have cost more in P+P to send back again. The seller sent me a bib in place of it, but had I had the spoon would have refunded all costs.

Non mi piace
Troppo piccolo ma soprattutto non morbido come mi aspettavo da un cucchiaino in silicone. Peccato perché il fatto che si possa piegare era interessante.
