Very easy to understand and helpful book! A great first step in trying to learn ASL. The pictures are drawn very well, too.

Love this book. I got one for me and one for my granddaughter so we can learn together. Very clear instructions and easy for us to learn to sign together.

This book is great. The only thing I can see a bit funny is the orientation of hands can be confusing @.@.

Bought this for my grands. Explanation is through and clear. It is divided by types making it easy to practice common ASL signs. A good beginner book.

I purchased this product for my children because I wanted to give them a tool for learning sign language. I have been learning ASL and I want to be able to use sign for communication with my kids as well, so I knew (since I know Tara) this would be a great resource. The kids are fascinated with this book! It is so fun to see them trying out the signs. Since buying the book I realized that it not only teaches sign language, but includes valuable information about deaf culture that really should go hand in hand with learning a new language. Tara Adams is such a gifted teacher! The illustrations in this book are also clear, easy to understand, and appealing. I would highly recommend this book.

I was hoping this book was perfect to teach children, in church, how to communicate with the deaf. I give this book an A+. I teach a class from ages 5-12, and I am very pleased with this book.
