will these be good to install laminate flooring without scratching the Pergo Outlast flooring?

I have used these to install 3 hardwood floors and not one scratch. They are gel filled and soft front. Perfect are perfect for flooring.

Will the surface of these wear out/tear up fast by using them on a rough surface such as an aggregate driveway?

My original pair are 4 years old and holding up well. I got a pair for my brother who said "you'll never get me in knee pads". He has had them 18 months and is rough on them. Still holding up ok. He does "some" concrete work with the. For me, if I had to buy a pair a month I would. I was completely unable to work while on my knees. These pads gave me back something I expected never to be able to do again. I'm 68 with bum knees. If you knees hurt, or worse... These will most likely be like free gold. They are so valuable for protecting knees.

Can they be washed in washing machine?

Yes, I've had a pair since 2010. I occasionally use them for yardwork so they're completely soiled afterward. I've washed mine at least 20 times. Although I have put them in the dryer a few times by mistake with no apparent problems, I usually set them out to dry.
