I purchased this to be my exclusive bartender board. As we are a big cooking family, the previous cutting board I purchased was getting used in the kitchen all of the time. When I bought that one, which I also loved, my wife thought I would get a nice one, not just a utility one. So she didn't have a problem when I said, "OK let me get a nice one for the bar and you can keep this one."It came a couple days later and I could have done a luxury unboxing video. It was packaged so nicely. In fact, I would say this is a perfect gift. It's beautiful, functional and it looks like it will last 50 years. There is only one downside with this. It's so special that nobody wants to wash it. So they leave it on the counter for me to wash exclusively, since I made the big deal that this is mine for the bar. A small price to pay.I make serious drinks all the time and I love to experiment. As you can see in the picture, I'm always using this board for work. It's more than just a pretty face.

Looks and feels like a quality made board.

I think my biggest complaints are if you have granite or quartz, it will slide everywhere. It does not have anything that keeps it in place. And I saw glaring cut marks the very first time I used it. It is what it is.

I received this board rather quickly. It is really a beautiful board. Exactly what I was looking for. BUT, the description is misleading, they claim to be an American company which leads you to believe it is American made. It is not. ITS MADE IN CHINA.Other than that, it seems to be a really good ,sturdy board that may last a very long time.

For the price, I think this is a pretty darn good end grain cutting board - it looks nice, is very sturdily constructed, and had no obvious flaws (no cracks or anything). My only complaint that left it at a 4 star is that it's finish seems kind of weird - it's a less textured finish that has kind of clung at my blades in a way that dulls them more rapidly than an end grain normally would. I may just re-sand and finish it with a beeswax/mineral oil finish I'm more familiar with. But otherwise a great cutting board.

By far the best board I’ve ever bought. It looks amazing and is high quality that’s about half the price of the competition. The spout is especially helpful, it hold all the juices from the meats which makes it really easy too either dispose of or even add into the pan too help with the natural flavor of whatever you’re cooking. I’m highly considering buying their other board so I have one board for meats and the other for vegetables, too prevent cross contamination. But should I need another board like this, for whatever reason, Blue Oak is the first place I’ll look.

I got a deal and got two Blue Oak cutting boards. I am extremely happy with the board. It is built well, sturdy and looks great in my kitchen. I even got the mineral oil with the purchase.

A beautiful piece that would lift almost any kitchen bench top yet designed with practicalities front and centre. A quality item that I will be admiring, and using, for some time.

I'm guessing it wasn't glued properly. How this was put into a box and shipped, I would love to know
