Protect your feet!
My husband loves these socks. First of all, it's nice to find a quality sock in a large size - these are listed as XL and they fit that elusive size 13+. Hie podiatrist recommended these socks as he's in work boots all day and had developed a rash similar to athlete's foot. These socks are advertised to be made with a type of yarn that "transports moisture and heat from areas of highest to lowest concentration for a comfortable, thermally balanced sock." The sock also incorporates Microban, which fights the growth of odor causing bacteria to keep socks cleaner and fresher. My husband says they are comfortable as well as supportive and his feet don't get wet during the day nor do they get "tired and achy." I can attest to the fact that they launder really well and don't stretch out of shape. So if you're looking for a sock to protect your feet, I highly recommend these.

) The attributes that make them good for running also make them good for hiking & ...
Ever since receiving a pair of Fitsok in a marathon gift-bag (10 years ago), I've worn them exclusively. They're durable, breathable, and seem to prevent hot spots when I'm switching shoe styles. In the cold, snowy winter of Minnesota, I wear a 1/4 length Fitsok underneath a crew-length Fitsok and have perfectly warm feet while running down to the -20F range. (Yes, some of us are partially insane and go running at those cold temperatures.) The attributes that make them good for running also make them good for hiking & camping, though I will use wool socks with boots when camping in the dead of winter.

Made in USA. Very black color--good for office.
I like to buy high-end socks and I try to only buy products made in USA. These socks are great! Most Made-in-USA socks look like hiking socks, not dress socks. These socks are so black that they work perfectly in the office. I was them and let them air dry. They dry softy every time and retain all of their blackness. They're also supportive and designed well. They don't fall down in the middle of the day.Of course, they're also made in USA. No percentage of the cost was wasted shipping lightweight socks halfway around the world and they weren't sewn by "slave" labor.

Go to sock for running....
I am a casual runner and for me these are the best sock I own for that. I never get blisters or irritation from this sock which I cannot say for my similar wigwam socks.

Fitsok softness and warmth, but missing the right amount of elasticity
I love the Fitsoks that I have in a shorter style, but needed crew length socks to wear with boots. While these have the warmth and softness I have come to expect out of Fitsok, they do not stay up quite as well as I had hoped. I have large calves, which likely exacerbates the gravity issue.

This is my favorite athletic sock
This is my favorite athletic sock, overall; I've been wearing them for years. Great cushioning, great airflow and extremely comfortable. I was very happy to discover this taller sock, which is VERY difficult to find! It is as comfortable as the lower socks but taller. I have larger than average calves and have a hard time finding an athletic sock that will not slump. It doesn't slump! I love it! I'm going back to purchase the last ones in stock right now. I didn't see this version on the fitsok.com website, so I don't know if they make them anymore. Mine!

Maybe the Perfect Crew Sock
This might be the perfect crew sock. Balega is very good and close to the Fitsok. Fox River Sock is very good but they are too thick for my taste (good for winter wear). I'm very happy with this sock - perfect balance of material (not too thin or thick) and high enough up on the shin but not too low. Feels very good. Now, I just need to see how they hold up over time after running and walking with them on a regular basis. Balega wore out too soon for me, considering their cost. I'm hoping these Fitsok crew socks will be better over time.

Just About Perfect Socks (or maybe they are)
I bought these socks to wear when I exercise, but then I found them to be so comfortable that I scoured around and bought a bunch of white Fitsoks to wear everyday. I can't believe how comfortable they are. I was particularly looking for a sock that wasn't too thick and Fitsoks are perfect. You'd think that thick socks are best for exercise, but that's not so at the end of the day when your feet have already expanded and your trainers start to crowd your toes. Try these Fitsoks. I'm betting you'll like them.
