Feline - Resveratrol - The Longevity Supplement for Cats - 30 Capsules

If I didn’t see it with my own eyes, I wouldn’t have believed the transformation in this cat. Two weeks into supplements I went ahead and ordered another box so I’m sure not to run out. I really want Amazon to put this on Subscribe & Save! But, let me backtrack for some history. Last fall, this beat up, near toothless, intact, older Tomcat showed up in my driveway. His cheeks were huge, and it was pretty clear that he was not well, as he was thin as a rail and just did not look good. He didn’t appear to be feral, as he was friendly, so I figured at some time he was part of a family, who perhaps moved and left him, or passed away. I started putting food out and he kept coming back where I was able to befriend him, get him in a crate and to the vet. I got him fixed, shots, took care of an infected abscess (from a cat fight no doubt), and learned he was immune compromised. We have been back and forth to the vet’s office so much, for steroid and antibiotic shots and even had expensive dental surgery done to remove most of the remaining bad teeth he had, that I sought out a supplement specifically with Resveratrol, a supplement I myself take, in hopes of boosting his immune system. We haven't been back for shots yet and we're on the second month, though only time will tell whether we have to keep making those trips for shots, but I can say for sure that since starting the supplement, this cat has completely transformed. Is it coincidence? I can only say that having been a very lethargic cat before, since starting the supplement he looks so good, has put on a lot of weight, seems very healthy and has become very active and playful – I’d even go so far as to say sassy. His behavior in fact, is very kitten-like! It's not a cheap supplement, though it's certainly far cheaper than those bi-monthly vet trips for sure, so we'll keep it up and see how it goes. Please don't ever stop making this kitty supplement!

I bought the feline dosage for my two small dogs, a mature terrier (puppy mill rescue) and a 15 year old Shi Tzu. The only difference between the canine and feline formulas--besides being a smaller dosage--is that the feline formula contains Taurine, which has no ill effects on dogs.I mainly bought it for the Shi Tzu due his stumbling and decreased mobility, and general aging issues (eye sight, hearing, etc). They've both been getting the feline dosage for about a month now and the Shi Tzu's mobility clearly is improving: going up and down stairs without stumbling, standing up on his home legs again, and just general increase in playfulness.I read other positive reviews and was hoping it would help our old buddy, and I am very pleased after the first month. We're going to continue with it.UPDATE: We've been using this for our two small dogs for going on 6 months now. It really does seem to give the old Shi Tzu some extra energy, particularly going up and down stairs. I am happy for that and will continue using it for the Shi Tzu and the Yorkie.

I 100% disagree that Resvantage feline should be taken off the market. Nonsense. I have been using it long term for 10 years [ give or take ] on 3 different cats who are currently aged 20, 15 and 15 years old. In fact, I have CONCLUSIVE evidence that Resvantage has indeed, improved the lives of my cats. 1 clinical and 2 observational. Clinical:When my 20 year old cat was 16 he needed aggressive dental work, a full blood panel was done [ I see ONLY the top vets in the CT, NYC and MA area as I go to the top specialists when my cats require help. I am used to state of the art treatment]. His results were all right below the midzone for danger on values for kidneys etc. Fast forward 2 years. My now 18 year old cat gets the full blood panel again prior to more dental surgery and the vet called my house. She wanted to run the tests again as his tests indicated by a LAB that he was smack in the middle of NORMAL. Here was was, 2 years older at age 18 and his bloodwork was that of a 10 year old, improving over his blood work at age 16. I only added Resvantage to his diet. Period. He is over 20 now and still climbs like a billy goat. My 2 15 year olds each have terrible conditions since age 5, [ cardio conditions, chronic upper resp infection, severe allergies, KIDNEY problems] yet the Resvantage has them happy as clams. As for those people who complain about giving a capsule to their cats, learn how to do it. Stop with the moaning, LEARN. I have taught more people than I can count. Seriously.Update.April 2016. The cat whom I focused this review on lived to be 23.1 years old. He was on the Resvantage Feline every day. I attribute his health to this TINY capsule. Since then, I have put other cats on it. I currently have a cat with nasal lymphoma on it. She has been in full remission for 2. 3 years. I gave the Resvantage to her 2x per day during chemo and radiation. I did that for a full year. I have since dropped her down to once a day. Zero signs of cancer, zero negative side effects from chemo targeting her heart and kidneys. I do believe by giving her a dose 2x per day her heart and kidneys were protected from the usual negative side effects of chemo. Now I have her on a maintenance program. I got my friend to use it when her dog was diagnosed with lymphoma and that dog is in full remission. It's over 1 year now.
