HOHNER560PBX Special 20 Harmonica, Key of High G

I already had Special 20 harps in G, A, Bb, C, D, Eb, and F, played and loved them all. Playing and feel is consistent across the range, a much improved design. I figured why not go for high G? I wasn't disappointed. I'll be playing (well, noodling on, I'm a guitarist fascinated by harmonicas, both diatonic and chromatic...) these babies for a long time. Hohner seems to have addressed the deficiencies of the late seventies and eighties by adding this re-designed series and a couple others in the Marine Band line, much to their credit. Highly recommend, especially for the gigging harp player looking for quality and great sound at a fair price.

High G is a great harp. Hohner always delivers. This harp is fun to play. Higher pitch, easily bendable notes. I play cross harp so this bird flys high on songs in the key of D. Enjoy. But it. Now.

These and the Lee Oskar harmonicas are the best sounding and easiest to play of the moderately priced harmonicas.

Love Special 20. this opens a new set of sounds with the high pitch.

I am no professional harmonica player. But I instantly fell in love with the rich sound of this harmonica. Hohner has always been my harp of choice, and the Special 20 did not disappoint.

I purchased High G I received my harmonica today , The box says it is key of High G but the harmonica itself is G. This is crazy . I want immediate refund

Unfortunately the key was described as C; even the color and stile was supposed to be "C". I bought the harmonica using the German website, so this is just a translation. The tuning might have been in C before, but there seemed to be a mixup and stickers were put on the discriptions on the box (name and key); but one can still read "C" underneath. That the description is not accurate, that is a huge minus, as I specifically needed a Hohner Special 20 in C Dur for my next concert, not one in E Dur, as delivered to me.Item was delivered quickly - 5 stars for that minus 4 for the wrong product.
