I like the ridged rubber, makes me feel it will get better traction on a larger variety of surfaces. Recently used these while changing the water pump on my wife’s Cadillac. The vehicle wasn’t rolling anywhere! They are heavy enough to feel solid when you chock the tires and they hold strong and function well. Seems like a good value!

These are definitely robust chocks. Will last a long time and have the weight and width to do what a chock is designed to do.

Wheel chocks work great for my 5x8 golf cart trailer.

I’ve been RVing for years and have always used the plastic wheel chicks. They work well but the tend to become brittle after a while and then they crack and break. I recently read an article that said that wheel chocks actually “expire.” They will become brittle, break and deform. Who knew? The article also said that “rubber” wheel chocks are much more robust and last a lot longer so I decided to purchase some.These chocks are great. Used them this past week. They are much heavier than plastic but I liked the heft in them, plus, they have a fairly long nylon rope between the two chocks. Helps in removing and carrying the chocks. I am very pleased with these chocks and highly recommended them.ONE MAJOR CAVEAT: They amazon description stakes that the chocks are a “pair” and that is true but what it means is there are two chocks on a nylon rope. Two chocks per tire, so if you want or need chocks for two tires, you mush order to sets. Still a great deal.

We bought one set for our trailer when it’s not attached to the car hitch. I bought a couple more for a boat when the trailer’s is being used. You can block both sides of the tires for extra security. They’re great quality. They haven’t cracked or warped in our Michigan winters or summers. They’re visible with the yellow stripe & rope. Sure beats the old mismatched pieces of wood we used to use.

These are heavy, no slippery zero and keep my trailer in place.
