I use this to carry a bunch of stuff to work - 4 1" binders, a laptop, and a couple notebooks. It is plenty long and wide for all of those to fit comfortably; It is plenty tall as well. I've been using it for 3 months now and it seems to be holding up well. I also like that it has end pockets for water bottles. My biggest complaint is that the fabric doesn't "stand up" on it's own (meaning if the bag isn't packed, it flops over). Since I don't use the outside zippered pockets otherwise, and I only need one end-pocket for a water bottle, I've stuffed those pockets with some stiff corrugated cardboard. This hack has done the trick to simulate a more-stiff material. The other thing I've noted compared to my old bag is that the handles on this one are a bit skinnier - thus they dig into your shoulder a bit if the bag is heavy/stuffed. Overall, however, I really like the bag - it's hard to find something that looks nice and yet can hold a bunch of stuff.

I should have understood this better from the dimensions but this bag is so big you might as well carry a backpack and save your shoulders. It is more of a weekender than a tote and bigger than airline personal item guidelines allow, although you can probably get away with it if you don't pack it full (but then what's even the point of having this gigantic bag?). Unless you have an enormous laptop, the removable padded sleeve is totally excessive in size as well. I would like to return it but be warned they charge for return shipping so unfortunately you can only get 75% of the cost back if it doesn't work for your needs.

I love that is lightweight, but would like more structure. It worked well as my carry on for flight and touring bus on vacation, but I need to add zippered pouches inside for small items.

Holds everything you need as a carry-on shoulder bag and hooks over rolling suitcase. Very light.

This bag is perfect for what I need. I can drop my planner, water bottle, umbrella, and all those other essential items I feel I can’t leave behind, without overloading my everyday handbag. I haven’t used it for travel, yet, but it would make a perfect carry-on. It’s light weight, great quality, and easily wipes clean. I will have and use this bag for a long time.
