I feel compelled to write a review on this watch. It is not very often that I receive any product that looks better in reality than pictured or described. This watch is of top-notch quality and it was apparent right away that care was taken to produce a high quality product that is both simple but yet stands out as being unique. It is both rustic yet sophisticated. I have heard from several almost immediately how much they like it. I will likely be looking to buy a second one. My biggest trouble will be trying to figure out which one. I will update if anything changes after using for a while, but first impressions are....This is a high end quality watch.

I bought this as a 5th anniversary present for my husband. He needed a new watch and the traditional 5th gift is wood, which was perfect. He usually wears silver but I got the black instead. It is beautiful, well made, and he will not stop talking about how awesome it is. Very rugged and manly but sleek enough for everyday office wear. I showed him the other options in case he wanted to exchange and he confirmed that I made the right choice. We hope to love it for years to come.

I bought this watch as a gift for my fiancé and he loved it. It’s a great combination of rugged and classy. He loved how much weight it held without being too heavy to wear. The links shine and contrast so nicely with the metal. We’re disappointed in how quickly the clasp on the watch has started to show signs of wear; especially since he does not work in a profession that deals with his hands a lot. It appears that the clasp and bottom links run against tables and begin to scuff.

This watch looks fantastic! The packaging for starters is amazing.... It comes in a great looking wood box. Taking out the watch you feel the quality immediately. Has a good sturdy weight to it. The only somewhat knock, and mind you I am not complaining, the wood grain is much lighter than the picture. It comes more like a light colored oak then a honey stained wood grain. Still a beautiful watch. I am wearing it right now.

I bought this watch as a wedding gift for my husband. And the quality of the watch is wonderful! We bought wooden watches for all the groomsmen but wanted his to be a little more special. The face of the watch is real wood which I love. It has so much character and doesn't make it look cheap with a fake wood sticker on the face. He always gets complements on it every where we go!The only down side to this watch is that it smudges very easily on the metal. And there is a small gap in the wood between the glass on the face and the metal on the band. It's not noticeable really but my husband is a bit OCD so not much slides past him! Otherwise we couldn't be more happy!

Great quality and look. Love the weight and perfect fit right out of the box.My only complaint is the Amazon description. I bought the oak bourbon barrel watch or I hope I did. If you read the description it starts saying bourbon barrel and ends with beer barrels from Germany. I imagine it is just lazy listing and mixes a standard one. Regardless, it took way too much time to be sure I got the right one.

Sadly, the product arrived broken. The dial knob had popped out when I received it. I had to push it gently back in. Then, I paid a watch specialist to look at it. She tested the battery that was already in the watch, and found it dead. She replaced with a new battery, and still the watch wouldn't work. Very disappointing.
