Sturdy Way to Package DVDs/CDs
An envelop easily held one DVD in a slim jewel case and can hold two tightly. It was easy to apply labels to the outside and looked neat. The seal was strong. I had hoped from commits made in the earlier reviews that the envelops would go letter rate. I even packed them so that the closure was at the top as mentioned in a review. The Post Office still viewed them as individual packages. I was charged between $2.50 and $3 for each one I sent. The cost varied because some DVDs were packaged in regular CD covers and a few held 2 DVDs. I understand from folks who received them that there was no damage to the DVDs so that was great. FYI: It will not hold a regular DVD movie case.

Really Nice Cardboard sleeves for mailing DVDS
I needed mailers that were strong enough to withstand mailing, but still able to be shipped first class mail (letter) which is much cheaper than mailing out a package. I really enjoy these mailers, because they are sturdy and easy to use. The mailers are convenient for the sender and the receiver. The tab closes easily for the seller, by just removing a strip to cover the sticky edge. When the package is received, there is an easy tab to pull to open the envelope. These are very nice mailers and I am glad I purchased them. I have no complaints at all with them.

Cheaper quality than used to be - do not protect CDs well in the mail
First time I ordered these in the Fall, they were great, now they are of a MUCH lighter weight cardboard & smaller, so the CDs do not fit in them sideways & the flap is smaller. Not as good of protection for my CDs - not good at all. They are constructed completely differently. A big waste of money! Go back to the other, higher quality ones!

Perfect.
These are excellent quality. I love how easy they are to use. Plenty of room for a disc and its outer sleeve envelope. Possibly even room for 2 though I haven't tried. After filling and addressing several envelopes I realized I made several errors in my homemade video project so I did get the chance to seal them and also open them too. Opening is super easy with the pull tabs.I'm so glad I found these. No more cutting up brown paper bags and folding them all up.Thanks!!

Too thin
Concept is good, but way too thin and flimsy to be of much value to protect a CD/DVD for shipping purposes.I would not buy again or recommend

Good mailers for CDs and DVDs
I use these for mailing DVDs from my office with data on them. They are a little thinner than my old ones but more than adequate. They are also LARGER than my previous ones which is nice. You can fit more than one CD inside. The hardest part is getting the post office to figure out the mailing costs for these envelopes.

Gets the job done with minor flaws
Basic CD/DVD mailer that gets the job done, but it has three minor flaws that you should be aware of.1) It's a bit bigger than the picture makes it look. One disc fits loosely inside it. I ended up putting discs in a paper sleeve --> 1000 pcs White CD DVD Paper Sleeves Envelopes with Flap and Clear Window and then inside the mailer just to protect it more from sliding around inside the mailer. I don't think it would really scratch it, but it worried me a little.2) There is a strip of glue covered by some paper that you peel of and then stick the flap down to close it. Every 5th mailer or so has adhered to the paper like it got damp or something. You can't peel the paper off and you can't stick the flap down. I tape them all shut anyway just to make sure the disc arrives but it's still kind of annoying.3) The coating on the mailers is a little too glossy to use a stamper on. My return addresses smeared very easily and didn't dry for a couple of minutes. I like the glossy look, but I don't like smearing.

Great value
Sizing of mailers makes it really easy to insert discs, but it would be perfect if there was a soft liner inside envelop. Having extra space for ease of insertion is nice but disc can also slide around during shipping which can cause scratches.
