Stroke Hand Brace by Restorative Medical | Functional Resting Hand & Wrist Night Splint - Corrective, Supportive Brace for Correction, Comfort & Pain Relief (Medium - Right w/Finger Separators)

I bought this for my elderly grandma as she has severe hand contractures and she had one hand that hadn’t developed as much as the other and I wanted to prevent it from getting worse. Unfortunately my grandma didn’t end up using it because she thought it was silly and it was just one of those independence things. It looked promising but we didn’t get to use it. Looked and felt comfortable and soft.

This brace has worked well for my 91 year old aunt who had a stroke. It helps to keep her fingers straight so that at some point (hopefully) she will be able to use her right hand again, in some degrees.

i bought the incorrect size of Right/Left brace, too big for me! the velcro are very strong. sometimes, its hard to take them off. i suggest, manufacturer should use a light to medium strength of velcro. i had a carpal tunnel brace before, i also purchased here and it wasn't an expensive one either. the type of velcro used was pink in color, and very light velcro....hope the manufacturer is reading this comment for improvement of this product. customized brace like this are not covered by health insurance, so it was cheaper to get this one...oh, well TRIAL and ERROR.
