Easy to assemble means, it's two items that you screw into a hard object to mount, so have the right tools to screw it in or you'll be in for a long day, but works well, and as expected.

As other reviewers stated, the bolts that came with it are too short for joist mounting so you will need to replace with new screws or longer bolts. Also, mine came with a defective finish where one handle was textured and the other was totally smooth (poor quality control). Seller did offer to send replacement after receiving my return but I didn't want to risk another set that don't match so I decided to just kept it. Besides, I will probably lose shipping fees which is not worth the trouble of returning.

I needed this to hang between ceiling joists which does the trick so that I can do pull ups. However the bolts are an inch too short and you only get three even though there’s four holes that need to be screwed To the ceiling joist. It doesn’t cost much to add an inch to the bolt and have four with matching nuts. Ceiling joist must be thinner in China.

Great product that serves a purpose for a great price but I don’t understand how you could ship these without bolts long enough to allow you to mount to 2x6 joists. Very strange. Looks like a trip to Lowe’s this weekend unfortunately.

They hardware included is intended to mount as an accessory grip to a joist mount pull-up bar ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NBZO3QY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ). The included hardware is a perfect fit for that purpose, but if you want to mount directly to a joist (without the pull-up bar) you will either need to buy longer bolts or appropriated sized lag bolts.Product mounted perfectly to my pull-up bar as all the hole were in alignment.
