5812-RND Interlogix Security Round Acoustic Glassbreak

I had these in my house for 15 years and they hardly ever fail or false alarm. Low profile and easy to setup too. Highly suggested for places you can't run a reed sensor to.

This is a great product, easy to install, easy to adjust, and matches well with modern decor, no problems, works really well not to sensitive..

Range was only 10ft at 180 degree or along the same wall. 4 wires were direct replacement for my system.

Great detector. Used the, to replace some motions that the cat kept setting off. Easy to connect to a Vista system. No more false alarms. Every home should have these. Details list it a being sufficient for a 25' by 25' room. You may need a few. Common 4 lead wiring. Tested them by throwing my keys against a glass window. Instantly reacted. No false alarms either. I don't have to keep the cat locked up in one room anymore either

It is useless because the installation instruction does not contain any information about wiring. The only Acoustic glass break detector video on youtube does not contain it either.

Good product

requires wiring and it is very the cost is not worth it. Search elsewhere for a product that is reliable but easy to install

I use these on all my windows in my house after a break in. I hope they help keep someone from breaking in again. They are loud when they go off so you will hear it and they aren't super sensitive so they don't go off with minor movement. They stick on the inside of the window and the part use from the outside says "alarm" so hopefully it deters a burglar.
