I like that it has the elastic straps and was fairly easy to put on. My chair matches all of dimensions in the listing but, it is a bit small and therefore, looks a little off. The pictures show it going all the way down the leg rest but it barely goes past the seat. Overall, it is a good purchase for the price but still a little disappointing with the size difference. The seams on the seat don't go down into the crack, they are visible on the seat. Also, the elastic around the back is a bit loose, which is ironic considering the fact it is small everywhere else. I used safety pins to secure the back a little tighter.

Rating scale does not have a 3 1/2 star. I ordered two of the same item, recliner cover, to have a spare. The cover appears well made with an overall good manufacturing quality. The fit is great and the elastic straps address the issue with other recliner covers with the back cover falling down. So why not a higher rating? The feel of the top fabric cover made from polyester has a velvet or velour feel and is acting as a cat hair magnet. We do not have long hair cats. The recliner cover is has not yet been cleaned or washed to determine long term maintenance.

It serves the purpose! Of course would have expected to cover more of the recliners. But it does what is expected out of it - cover the cracked up leather underneath!The trick is to securethe elastic bands into the frame of the chair / recliner.. this helps to keep the cover in its place..spending a few dollars actually saved us from disposing the recliners and buying new ones!!This will definitely work for a couple of years :)Haven't tested the water resistance.. dropped a few water drops and they seeped in.. but if you wipe it off immediately, it would be good..

The product description is inaccurate. All three (chair, love seat and sofa) say they have side pockets. Only the sofa does. I saw other people complained about the same thing but the wrong information is still on Amazon page.If you have a narrow back chair the straps are way too big and useless. I had to tack back 70% of the straps so they weren’t hanging down useless and ugly. The chair cover is narrower (side to side) in seat than specified.The love seat straps also have the same strap issues. I might just cut them off both pieces of furniture because they are ugly and useless.The sofa was fine because it is one long adjustable strap. The side pockets are too high on the arm.The instructions were the same picture and diagrams for all furniture (the chair one) but the installation on all three are a little different.Fabric looks strong and very comfortable. But honestly with the ugly useless straps on chair and love seat I may just return them. I don’t like the idea of cutting off straps to make the product do what it was supposed to do.I probably would have chosen a different product had I known about these deficiencies

I am giving this a 1 star review because it's absolutely terrible. I purchased the couch one which worked out great but this chair one is like a scrap piece of fabric sewn together for a chair that in no way is close to being the right size to even fit the chair. I am very disappointed in this product. I have a puppy and children so I had planned on buying multiples to help keep the furniture clean and easy to wash germs off ect. I liked how I could just throw the couch one into the washing machine. So I was going to purchase more of them but being the chair one was so horrible I'm looking else where because I'd like them to match. This chair cover would seriously be fitting to maybe a small kitchen table chair... 🤦🏻‍♀️

Recently got my father a lift chair that is faux leather. It felt like you could slide right out and on to the floor. This cover is perfect for our needs. It stays in place, he says it is comfortable, and most of all it keeps him from falling out of his chair. It looks good. The color is brown\beige and is exactly what we were looking for.I can't speak of durability as we haven't had it long and we haven't tested for water resistance.

They installed in less than 5 minutes. look neat, and protect my chairs from the dog. They look neat on my wine-colored leather recliners. As the seat cushion is T-shaped, and the recliner is a swivel model and has no legs, I used the elastic bands to secure the covers to the the seat cushions by tieing them together with a shoelace. I am not really sure with what to do with the elastic straps at the back-cushion, as the springs are not accessible, but even with an 82 pound dog jumping on and off one of the recliners, the covers seem to be remaining in place well. I have not yet laundered them, but they look like they will do well in my washing machine.

It doesn't fit as sure as it says so. There are two straps on the arms that doesn't fit anything.
