Transparent Window Weather Sealing Tape, 2-Inch x 30 Yards, Clear Window Draft Isolation Sealing Film Tape- No Residue, Surface-Safe, Wood-Safe, Removes Cleanly

Tape works well sealing a sliding glass door of my rec room. I found it does stick once applied and when pulled off, it does not leave any glue residue on the glass or on the metal frames. The problem I encountered was to get the tape off the roll without getting to curl in my hands and end up sort of tangled and sticking up upon itself. Dummy me, I know. I should have realized that unrolling small strips at a time would prevent my self-created problem. In other words, six pieces twelve inches long would be much easier to handle and work better than one six footer. OK, go ahead and laugh at my amateurish ways of dealing with weather tape, eh? At any rate, sealing done, no more cold drafts coming through the glass doors. And, a bonus? It keeps the lady bugs from sneaking through the sliding door channels and making my rec room their winter retreat. Folks, this weather tape works. It does not pull off wall paint or messes up stained wood frames. Recommended.

It's very nice. Winter is coming and this has helped us a lot. It comes off easily on certain occasions on certain surfaces but it is enough to cover the need, whether large or small, but I think that to a certain extent the fact that it comes off easily is good because it stays put while it is on but when you want to take it off it is not a pain. head, especially if you want to take care of the surface, you can always put another piece back.

I bought this hoping to seal off my windows and door that leads outside. To be fair, we do have a run down home that has gaps where you can see outside. It did work well in the winter and we definitely noticed a difference in temperature after I sealed off the windows. It is very sticky and easy to shape to any contours. It did not hold up the entire winter though, and I had to take it off when it started getting nicer because it was pealing and didn’t stay on. It took the paint and top layer off of our walls/window & door frames though. Overall, it is very sticky and might take your paint off the walls, it worked for the winter but didn’t stay stuck on very well.

This tape, WORKS!!!! I wish I would have known about this years ago, instead of putting that plastic over my windows. This tape is extremely hard to cut whether with scissors or either a box knife. However, I'll take that as long as it gets the job done. this stuff really truly works. I noticed a BIG difference in the temperature in every room. It's beats people spending thousands of dollars in buying new windows 🪟 for their home 🏡. THANKS, this tape is the BEST!!! And, although I bought the three pack, one roll will actually secure ten windows.

I purchased this tape several times, but I had never used it on my windows to winterize. I bit the bullet this year to put it to the test, and I tried insulating my windows with this tape instead of plastic film. Well, I am livid, it is the beginning of a cold snap where I live and I was wondering why my front room was so cold. I checked my windows and the tape has started peeling off of every single one of my windows so now I have to go back and use the dreaded plastic kit. My work doubled. The tape worked on insulating around some of my ceilings, but it was useless on my windows, I don’t think that will I be purchasing this item again. I had such high hopes for this tape, a chance to be clear of the plastic, BUT NOPE.

I expected this stuff to be as challenging as box tape to work with, but it is surprisingly easy to peel and apply. It is a little stretchy so it doesn’t feel brittle. It has great adhesive but let’s go if you need to pull back and adjust as you apply. Then once in place, you just rub and you can tell it’s getting a good seal that is air tight. Also is not as shiny a finish so it practically disappears. I applied as winter storm was just starting to kick the wind up and could feel the wind coming through the window and door cracks as I was applying, so it was so satisfying to feel how well it stopped the cold as I finished each door and window! Obviously this early in the game I can’t speak to how it will remove later, but it’s doing its job very well right now!

This is the second time I ordered this tape. I use it to seal around the windows in the winter. I love it. I have storm windows, but cold air still manages to get in. This tape keeps the cold air out. Works well and easy to handle.

Very pleased with this tape. Very sticky and has a stretch to it (see picture) which makes it way easier to apply and to fix minor mistakes you might make along the way. Comes off and reapplies fine if you mess up, provided the surfaces are clean. I'd say it's about 2-3 times as thick as packing tape, so still on the thin side, but perfect for the job in my case. It doesn't feel fragile. Doesn't leave any residue in the short term, but I'll be interested in finding out whether it still comes off clean in a few months.

Very good tape for sealing and draft proofing UPVC windows, would recommend.

This is basically a thick cello tape. Doesn't do any better job than cello tape. When you remove it, it peels off all the paint, like cello tape. I would not buy this again.

I used this for the first time this year to seal any open spaces around my portable AC unit vent and I was surprised at the difference it made! No more drafts and it held up great during rainstorms. It was also easy to remove.

Keeps my AC sealed to my sliding door, just make sure you clean the surface your adhering to prior to use. If you don’t, the tape will not stay in place! 4/5 could have a stronger adhesive, but it does what I needed it to do!
