Puppy Cake Wheat-Free Cake Mix with Icing for Dogs (Red Velvet) Made in USA

Well...this was suppose to be a birthday treat for my Lexi's birthday but she loved it above ALL other treats so now this is something I make regularly and share with my granddoggies. It smells like people vanilla cupcakes when cooking and my husband found me smelling one before icing it. My son in law actually tasted one...he said they are definitely for dogs ("not enough sugar" lol). I can't say enough about it...your dog will love it!

I made this cake my my pugs 2 year old birthday. It was easy to make and didn't take long. For the icing you'll have to add a little bit more water to it because the suggested amount is too little but be careful adding more water do a tiny bit at a time or it will get runny. I had to put it in the fridge to harden uo some. My dog and her sister loved the cake. It came out looking good. I used all the sprinkles and it covered the cake completely. So I'd say it's dog approved.

My Doberman loved this cake and kept whining for more. I like that it didn't have unsafe ingredients and tasted great. (I had a piece too and it was pretty decent.) Prepared properly, it turned out moist and easy to decorate. What's awesome is that they included the frosting! I will order this and use again for next year. Made her first birthday a great success. (Get the dogbone pan, too!)The only negative thing I have to say is the shipping container looks like it was beat to heck. Do better on the shipping, seller.

I have a german shepard mix and had gotten this for her birthday. I made the cake mix into cupcakes. Of course it didn't take my girl long to gobble it up. Easy to make. However I wish the icing went a little further.

The first time I purchased this cake in a set with a bone shaped cake pan for our dog's first birthday with us and it was a hit! I gave them both a big chunk of cake, which was a mistake, because both dogs tried to inhale the entire chunk at once. I learned my lesson and the next time cut of bite size pieces for the dogs and kept the leftover in the fridge. It has made a nice Summer snack for them and is one of their favorite treats.

I've been using this dog birthday cake mix brand for years, and it's always been a hit with my dog. He absolutely loves it, and I've never had any issues with reactions or stomach problems afterward (knock on wood). They can also be made in the oven traditionally, or even the microwave if you are in a time crunch. This time, I tried the version with sprinkles, and while it seems a bit more crumbly from the other flavors I've used in the past, he still really enjoys it, which is what matters most. It's a special treat for a special companion, only the best for the best! Would recommend!

This is my first time buying this brand but not the first time buying a dog cake mix on Amazon. The bake time was incorrect and the cake was difficult to get out of the silicone mold. The cake was also very crumbly and hard to keep together to ice the cake.

I always buy this cake because it never seems to make my dogs stomach hurt… But ALL THE BOXES SAY to microwave for six minutes… We almost burned the house down, so only microwave for one and a half, maybe two minutes at most!
